IGNOU stands for Indira Gandhi National Open University. The University was established by an act of parliament in 1985. IGNOU is a recognised University by UGC. All, the Diploma degrees from IGNOU University are accepted all over India as well as in foreign countries. The University is run by the Central Government of India, with headquarters in New Delhi. There are various UG. Diploma and PG courses offered by IGNOU are available in different streams such as Humanities, commerce, life sciences, arts, computer science, management, law, etc. The fees and duration eligibility for diploma, UG, and PG courses are different.

One who wants to apply for the P.hD course must have a post-graduation degree in the respective subject with good marks from some recognised university.There is a 5% relaxation for the reserved category students as they have to obtain 50% marks in their final year.The PhD application came two times a year one is in the monthe of November and another in the monthe of May.For taking admission in PhD one has to qualify the entrance exams which is conducted by NTA followed by Interview which is conducted by IGNOU.

Once you get admission in IGNOU in distance education, students have to submit assignments, appear for term end exam and if required submit practical file. Assignments: Students can check the assignment on the official website of IGNOU as per their year of admission. Students have to submit the assignment within the specified time to their designated study centre. Some study centre might accept online submission. However, it is advised to submit a hard copy as well. Assignment has weightage of 30%.Term End Exam: Term End Exam are conducted two times a year-one in December and other in June. Candidates can check the datesheet for the same on the official website of IGNOU.

However, in case a students forgets to bring the same, he or she can show an identity proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc. Most of the exam centres accept identity proof in such cases but to avoid any kind of conflict, students must carry their IGNOU ID-Card along with an identity proof and admit card.

Regarding your situation, your B.Com degree is not finished yet and have pending papers from the previous year, it is mandatory to clear your B.Com degree first.When you will clear your all papers, you will automatically becomee eligible for M.Com.
