One who wants to apply for the P.hD course must have a post-graduation degree in the respective subject with good marks from some recognised university.There is a 5% relaxation for the reserved category students as they have to obtain 50% marks in their final year.The PhD application came two times a year one is in the monthe of November and another in the monthe of May.For taking admission in PhD one has to qualify the entrance exams which is conducted by NTA followed by Interview which is conducted by IGNOU.

The eligibility  for the M.Com at  (IGNOU) is different for diffrent courses: For M.Com, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a relevant field from a recognised university.
