The application process for MBA at IGNOU is completely online. Students willing to apply must visit the official website. IGNOU offers only very selective programmes to international students through its overseas partner institutes. These partner institutes render student support services to such students. Such students aspiring to pursue IGNOU programmes must contact the concerned partner institute in their vicinity and fill out the admission form along with the requisite fees within the stipulated time. Indira Gandhi National Open University offers BSc and BSc (Hons) course across different durations. The course duration range from three to four years. IGNOU re-registration is the procedure to register for any course for the next semester/ year. Students who have already enrolled in the undergraduate or postgraduate courses of IGNOU can apply for re-registration on university's official website. Students who have not appeared for the term-end exams or those who have not submitted their assignments can also fill out the IGNOU re-registration form. The status of re-registration at IGNOU can be tracked after 30 days of filling out the application form. Students can use their registered login credentials on the official website to track the same. 

All the admission forms submitted via the Online Admission System are scrutinised and confirmed for admission subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria. These forms are processed region-wise on a first-come-first-serve basis. Therefore, the time required for the processing of forms for different regional centres may vary depending on the number of applicants from the respective region. IGNOU offers a two-year MBA programme in General and Banking & Finance specialisations. IGNOU results for PhD admission are out on the official website of the institute. Candidates who have at least 50% aggregate in the entrance test (45% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ OBC (Non Creamy layers)/ Differently abled persons) are shortlisted for the interview subject to the maximum limit of five times of the available seats. The entrance test carries a weightage of 70% and 30% weightage is allocated to the interview/ viva.

The total tuition fee for MBA at IGNOU ranges between INR 6,300 and INR 68,000. This fee is sourced from the sanctioning body/official website. It is however, still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. For more details, students can confirm the fee from the admission office. Apart from this, a non-refundable registration fee of INR 300 (unless specified otherwise) shall be charged along with the programme fee of first semester/year at the time of admission. 

IGNOU application window is open and students must qualify the eligibility criteria set by the institute. After the successful processing of the form, the University will provide further information concerning confirmation of admission, allotment of the study centre and other details for induction, etc. in due course of time.
