The eligibility is lenient at IGNOU. An aggregate of at least 50% in bachelor’s degree is required by IGNOU for admission to MCA courses but they are also open to students who did not attain the required mark if they have relevant experience or degree in the same field such as Computer Science or IT or BSc. Although you obtained an average of 48.73%, it is still possible to apply for the admission process; however, one should prepare themselves for some rejection after the selection process. Best of luck!

{Source: BBA students & alumni}Here's a summary of what students and alumni have to say:* Flexibility: Studying BBA at IGNOU allows students to pursue their degree alongside a full-time job, which is a major advantage.* Career opportunities: While there is no guarantee of placement, some students have reported getting jobs with decent packages (e.g., INR18 LPA) and internships with MNCs (around 60%).* Infrastructure: Since IGNOU is an open university, students won't have access to traditional campus amenities like hostels, libraries, or recreational areas.* Teaching quality: Faculty members are generally qualified and helpful, although some students have expressed concerns about limited interaction with teachers.* Course relevance: The BBA programme covers important topics in retail management, making it relevant for those interested in entrepreneurship or starting their own businesses. In conclusion, while IGNOU may not offer a traditional college experience, the flexibility and career opportunities make it a viable option for working professionals looking to enhance their education. However, students should be prepared to take ownership of their learning and adapt to self-study methods.
