INR 5.7 Lacs is the total tuition fee for BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur. The eligibility criteria for BDes are  good enough marks in Class 12 and a valid score in the UCEED entrance exam. Candidates who want to apply for admission have to fill out an application form online and pay INR 2000. This amount is from official website and may be changed later.

To apply for IIITDM Jabalpur M.Tech admission 2025, candidates are required to follow certain steps, such as filling out the form, uploading the relevant details, paying the application fees, getting selected in the merit list paying the course fees, etc. Check out the basic steps for admission below:

Mode of fee payment

The fee has to be paid online using credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. Note that the UCEED application fee is no-refundable. This means, once the fee is paid, it will not be refunded whether you appear in the UCEED 2026 exam or not.

Yes, you can get admission at  IIITDM Jabalpur with a rank of 40K if you belong to the General All India category. This category had the overall cutoff rank ranging from 13297 to 64090. Hence, yes, admissions are possible with this rank for the General AI category. 

For the OBC AI category, admissions are also possible due to the last round cutoff being 64779. Please remember that other categories will have different qualifying cutoffs accordingly. 

The students at IIITDM have access to excellent career opportunities, supportive faculty members, and a great campus life. Admissions to BTech are based on the JEE Main entrance exam. The applicants who score well in the JEE Mains will be considered for admission. The programme offers four specializations that span four years, with a full-time tuition cost of INR 5.22 Lakh. The eligibility criterion requires a minimum of 75% in class 12, and candidates must have a valid score in JEE Mains to be admitted to IIITDM. The average package for undergraduate courses in 2023 was INR 21.63 LPA. MHRD decides the MCM Scholarship amount for general and SC/ST students, with the Institute's Board of Governors approving it. Currently, both categories receive INR 1000/- per month, along with a tuition waiver, also known as Freeship.

The institute has a good placement record. However, a declining trend was observed in the total number of offers made over the past three years (2022 to 2024).  IIITDM Jabalpur UCEED cutoff 2025 for rounds 1 and 2 has been released for different categories of students. For the General AI category candidates, the  IIITDM Jabalpur B.Des cutoff 2025 was 144 in the first round and jumped to a rank of 162 in the second round. Candidates aiming for admission to the B.Des course must attain a rank of 162 or lower to increase their chances for admission at IIITDM Jabalpur. IIITDM Jabalur cutoff 2025 has been released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Students who belong to the General AI category need to attain a rank between 13297 and 64090. 

OBC AI students need to attain ranks within the range of 4946 and 81973. Students should know that other All India categories will have different qualifying cutoffs.

JEE Main is conducted in two sessions each year, with session 2 usually held in April. For the current cycle, NTA had announced the JEE Main Session 2 exam dates, and the exams for Paper 1 (BTech) were conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. The registration for session 2 is now closed. Now, prospective candidates should wait for the announcement of JEE Mains dates for the academic batch of 2026.

The placement rate has not been released officially. However, the other details have been disclosed. The total number of offers has dropped year-on-year from 2022 to 2024. During the academic year 2023-24, the highest domestic and international packages stood at INR 110 LPA and INR 122 LPA, respectively. Looking at the past three years' data, an improving trend was recorded in the IIIT Jabalpur highest package, which is depicted below:

The institute has not released the IIIT Jabalpur CSE average package or other placement details. However, the overall data has been released. As per the report, over 90 companies took participation in 2024 placements and rolled out more than 284 job offers. Further, 65% of the students received a salary above INR 10 LPA. The highest domestic package stood at INR 110 LPA. This year, 3 students received international offers with the highest international package recorded at INR 122 LPA. The average package recorded for UG and PG courses was INR 19.27 LPA and INR 12.54 LPA, respectively. In addition to this, the highest package for PG courses stood at INR 18.44 LPA.
