1.) Associate Member of Institution of Engineers Part A and B in Mechanical Engineering with atleast 60% aggregate (by examination).

2.) MEO Class I Certificate of Competency Issued by Govt. of India.

Note: Candidates with GATE Scores in Marine Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Naval Architecture are exempted from IMU’s CET, however, they will be considered only against the residuary seats, if any.

3.) For SC/ST candidates there is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks required PCM; however, it will not apply to english subject marks.

4.) All the candidates who qualify for this program require to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of Certificate Verification.
