Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty and availabilities of essential services in the campus.
Placements: Placements for BCA and B.Tech students are fine that too because of nurture. We haven't reached that level. Recently our seniors got placed in reputed companies like Byjus. No less than 1 LPA package was given to the students. They are satisfied with the packages they got. But still, according to our batch placements, the part can also be improved or updated.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is available but not for BCA students. Computer systems are slow and have not been updated for quite a long time. In classrooms, students can't study properly as no facilities are provided for summer. It's very hot and humid. This problem in class is faced only by BCA students and the students pursuing courses provided by nurture. The library is okay but no arrangements are done for summer. Hostelers are having problems with the food. The quality is really low. Also, the canteen services are quite irregular. Most of the time the food services are not available which is one of the major issues for the students. Medical facilities aren't that good as well because most of the time the medical rooms are closed and when sick students request to open them they are asked to sit and rest in the canteen rather than laying down in the sick room. The sports room is there for just the sake of a name. Sports equipment is there on the campus but students can't avail themselves. Whenever the students ask for it they are told that either the equipment in charge is not on the campus or if he's on the campus he's not present in the equipment availing room.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but that student-teacher relationship that is essential for good learning and communication is not present. Teachers are knowledgeable but they aren't able to connect with the students and hence not able to explain the concepts properly. They are too narrow-minded and the students aren't able to get a proper or comfortable environment to learn and grow. Teaching quality is so, not that good and not that bad either. I don't think they're able to help students get industry-ready. They're neither too easy nor too hard. It depends from subject to subject and faculty to faculty. The passing percentage is 30%.
Other: The best things about the course are that it's quite interesting and you'll love it if you like to stay around creativity. Cloud tech is newly introduced and still has a lot of room for growth which means it has a whole lot of scope in near future. Here in ITM, the course is updated and all the notes and study materials are available in advance on an online platform. But the quality of some of the notes made by the professors is a bit low. Looking at the normal rates, events and fests are organised rarely that too without any proper planning, management and they're too boring for this generation. The campus crowd isn't as much as it should be. Scholarships are available if you got more than 80% in the 12th standard. Students are asked to get involved in extracurricular activities but again they turn out to be either non-interesting or non-knowledgeable for the students. There's no college life here for BCA students. It's like a school. For management students it's fine. Almost all the time the management becomes biased. Management students get much more facilities, opportunities, and attention from the university management and whatnot. BCA students feel quite left out here. Also, the bus services are really bad. The university has such a big name but its deeds don't satisfy it. Students travel in bus standing. They don't get seats even when other buses are there but standing. Even when the buses are available, University doesn't feel the need to run them.
