My review about Kalinga University.

Placements: Kalinga University in Nava Raipur is the best university compared to other private colleges. Placement cell is excellent. Placement cell conduct training for one to two months. They prepare us for mock interviews, aptitude tests and many more, so that we are prepare well for the placement drives. Approximately 95% students are placed during on-campus placement. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, HCL, Accenture, and many more visit the campus for placement drive. Roles offered by the companies are depend on our course and skills.

Infrastructure: College is very big, with lots of greenery inside the campus. Classrooms and labs are well-maintained and well-equipped. 24/7 Wi-Fi facility is available for the students. Cafeteria is the best place to hangout with friends inside the campus. Grounds are very big, neat and clean. College has a big library with a vast collection of books. Inside library, there is a big hall with fully air conditioning so that student can study peacefully. Facilities provided for the hostellers are average. Facilities like 24/7 medical facilities, indoor games, and many more are available. Quality of the mess food is average. They provide four meals a day i.e., breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their subject. Many of them are Ph.D. holder. Teaching style is the best part of the teachers. They teach us in a systematic way so that we can understand word to word. Interaction between student and teachers are excellent so every student can ask doubt without any hesitation. Faculty members are very friendly in nature and they help students as far as they can. 2 semester exams are conducted every year. If we pass with minimum backlogs, we will get a chance for next year of our course. College conduct many exam before semester exam so that student can understand the paper pattern. Semester exam is not tough. Approximately 98% of students clear the semester exam in first attempt.

Decent infrastructure, subpar placements but good campus environment.

Placements: The placement scenario was average, only 1 student got placed in Wipro with a stipend of 15k. The batch size was of around 20 students. Though it should also be noted that many students didn't register for the placement so it can't be blamed entirely on the college.

Infrastructure: The one aspect this college excels at is it's infrastructure. It has a really good and vast campus as compared to other colleges and the campus is still expanding. The campus has a beautiful library where you can calmly sit down, take a breath and prepare for your tests or chat with your friends (don't be too loud though). It would be good if they include some other books apart from the curriculum. The entire campus is Wi-Fi equipped. Some classrooms are in excellent condition whereas some are alright. You won't have complains regarding the classroom. Some computer labs are pretty good but others have a lot of issues with computers. It would be rare to find a perfectly working computer on campus so I would recommend you to bring your own laptop and not rely on the college computers.

Faculty: Most of the faculty during the course of my Bachelors degree were helpful and easy to communicate with. The course curriculum is pretty outdated though, it could be improved with addition of new and relevant subjects. The semester exams are moderate, if you pay attention during class and maintain notes you'll have no trouble clearing them.

Other: As compared to other colleges in Raipur, it's a good option, it's a little bit on the expensive side though. There are many international students, you can interact with them and learn about different cultures. Don't expect great placements. You may or may not be placed. The curriculum is a little outdated but alright. If you want to enjoy college life and are planning on pursuing a Masters degree later on then you can join this college for your Bachelors degree.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: Around 70 to 80% were placed. The lowest salary package was 2 LPA and the highest salary package was 15 LPA. Wipro, Mindtree, and L&T infotech are the recruiters. Around 50% of students got internships. Some got in Mindtree and Wipro. Software developer is the role offered.

Infrastructure: Library has a collection of 65000 books, 23 National, and 26 International journals, and students are entitled to 2 books for 15 days against the library deposit. Library also has several online and digital libraries including the National digital library.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was very excellent. The course curriculum was very relevant and make the students industry-ready. Semester exams were quite tough.

My Kalinga College Review.

Placements: The highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Approximately 90% students get placed in on campus placement. Roles offered by the company is depend on your course and skills.

Infrastructure: Kalinga University is very big with lots of greenery and healthy environment inside the campus. 24/7 Wi-Fi facilities for the Students with good internet speed connection, Big playground area so that student can also do Extracurricular activities And a Cafeteria So that student can hangout with their friends in your free time because college timing is 9 Am to 4 Pm before 4 Pm you are not permitted to go outside the campus. Classroom and labs are well furnished and well-equipped. Facilities provided for the hosteler is quite amazing. Quality of the Mess food is okay.

Faculty: Kalinga has the best teacher as compared to other private colleges in Raipur. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their subject. Many of them are Ph.D. holder. Course curriculum is done according to the University of the College So that everything is done timely. Their is a five months Semester. Every year their is two semesters. After semester exam is done you will get break like 10 to 15 days it depends on timetable of your course so that student can relax. Semester exam is Moderate. College Conduct many Exams before semesters exams and internal is based on the college exams so it is mandatory to give all College exams and score good marks in that.

Best university in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: Accenture, TCS, and many other companies come for hiring students, and skilled students get placed in their dream jobs. About 30-40% of students have secured internships and placements in various companies. The top roles offered in our course include software engineering and web development.

Infrastructure: There are 2-3 computer labs available in our university, with more than 100 PCs for students. Workshops are also organized to improve students' skills. The university organizes games and competitions, such as quiz competitions, coding competitions, and hackathons.

Faculty: The teachers are good, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Our course is new and unique, making us skilled and job-ready. The semester exams at our university are not very hard; they are average. Students who attend classes every day can easily pass the semester exams.

It's an average university for students pursuing BCA as it doesn't give good placements.

Placements: 1. 20% of the students have been placed in companies from my course. 2. The highest salary offered is 30,000 per month and the lowest is 5000 per month. 3. TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) was the top recruiting company. 4. Software tester was the main job role. 5. The lowest- 1,00,000 and the highest- 5,00,000 package.

Infrastructure: 1. Labs, library, Wi-Fi campus, classroom, game room, basketball stadium, etc. 2. Mess, sports room, gym, medical room, cooler rooms. 3. Hostel warden available. 4. Additional kitchen for international students. 5. Breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner is provided. 6. Outings on Saturday and Sunday.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful but the teaching quality is not that good as the faculty members don’t have knowledge of both English and Hindi so international students could find some difficulty. The course is industry integrated as last 2 semesters are meant for internships or job.

Other: 1. I chose the following course because I was interested in computer and programming. 2. The course could be improved by adding some practical subjects to it. 3. Events and workshop are conducted.

Kalinga University has good placements in 2019 from reputed companies.

Placements: Almost 75% of students get placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Dell, HP, Amazon, Justdial, Mahindra, etc. Top recruiting roles offered are software developer, web designer, application developer, etc. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest package offered is 6 LPA, and the average package offered is 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: There are air-conditioned labs in the college. There are classes with coolers, fans and lights facilities. The college infrastructure is incredible, and it is nature-friendly. There is a Wi-Fi inside the campus. There is a Wi-Fi facility available in labs and the library, and there is a mess facility on the campus for hostlers and day scholars. There are sports room and medical room separate for boys and girls. There are computer labs in the college.

Faculty: Teachers are always helpful here. Faculty are well qualified either with B.Tech, PhD or postgraduate degrees. The course curriculum makes students entirely industry-ready. After the fourth semester, students sent for an internship but they must know basic computer knowledge.

Other: I choose this course because I am interested in computer science and I want to be a developer or coder. They provide internship after the fourth semester is the best thing about our course. Everything is good in college. There are annual fest, ramp walk in malls, scholarship, sports, industry visit, etc. in the college.
