Kalinga University offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and Integrated courses through its 14 departments.

The basic criteria to get admission in Kalinga University are given as follows:

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserve category) from a recognised Board are considered eligible for admission to the UG course.
2. Applicants with graduation degree of minimum three years with at least 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognised University are considered eligible to get admission in any PG course.
3. Candidates are selected on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination (for UG course) or in the Graduation Degree (for PG course) as per the guidelines of the University.
4. The application form is the same for every course (UG/ PG) and is available online and offline. Candidates shall submit the application fee of INR 1000 either through net banking/ credit/ debit card in online mode or through demand draft/ cash in offline mode.

The Training and Placement Department of this University provides guidance and all the assistance for the students in order to achieve their career goals. The Department takes right steps in identifying the demands of the current industry and prepares our students towards this need. Adequate emphasis is given for soft skill development complementing the regular academic programmes

Aptitude tests and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams. The Training Placement Officer who is assisted by ATPO and other faculty and student representatives from all the departments heads this unit. Job oriented courses and special training programmes are regularly conducted. Kalinga University also arranges guest lectures, visiting faculty members for training students and faculty members too, from time to time.

Minimum eligibility criteria for UG & PG Courses: For admissions to UG programmes at KU, students must have passed Class 12 and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate  (40% for SC/ST). Aspirants will be considered for PG programmes at KU if they have completed their graduation (graduation with three-year duration) with a minimum of 45% aggregate. 

Students belonging to SC and ST category will need a minimum of 40% for admissions. Students aiming for admissions to integrated programmes should have passed Class 12.

The minimum eligibility requirement for BTech at Kalinga University mandates that candidates must have passed Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subject.

Additionally, candidates need to have obtained at least 45% aggregate in the above-mentioned subjects taken together (40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories). In addition, you can contact the college directly for further information.

Kalinga University, located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has world-class infrastructure and student facilities. The campus is spread over 30 acres of land and is surrounded by wide roads and greenery. The university has more than 75 laboratories and workshops fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and apparatus. The academic facilities provided to students include classrooms, computer labs, libraries, laboratories and workshops, e-learning rooms, a placement cell, scholarships, research facilities, value-added courses, an incubation centre, central instrumentation, admission counselling, a moot court, an international student cell, a recording studio, a theatre and seminar, career development, and a Bosch lab. Kalinga University offers various scholarships to students based on certain terms and conditions. Students has to abide by the terms, in order to enjoy the scholarships benefits. The terma and condition are as follows:

• The scholarship is only applicable for the entire course duration. For eg: A BA student will be able to enjoy the benefit of the scholarship for the next three years until the degree is completed.
•  The Scholarship applies only to the tuition fee.
• The scholarship will be withdrawn if the student fails to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance as per state rules and appears in both CT in every Semester/Year. 
• The number of scholarship seats in each category is limited and will be granted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
