There are average placements and good facilities in the college.
Placements: I am in my first year of computer science engineering at present. It has about 80 percent of placements. Here, placements are very good compared to the other private colleges or near government colleges. For placements, our college is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good and is very bad. In the beginning, I expected many things from the college, but it is completely different. Classrooms are also not so good, and they do not have AC. There is no hostel for boys, but it provides a hostel only for girls.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, but they do not have good teaching methods. Many teachers are very good at teaching, but there are some teachers who literally do not take any class in the full semester. Most teachers are well educated, and their teaching is good.

College is good, and the placement of the Data Science course is better compared to Computer Science
Placements: In Data Science, almost 90% of students are placed. The highest package of the course is 25 to 30 LPA. The lowest package is 5 to 6 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Samsung, Accenture, Oracle, and many more. Ninety-five to ninety-eight percent of students got internships in good companies like Infosys, Adobe, and many more. Roles include data analyst, developer.
Infrastructure: There are good classrooms in my department, but Wi-Fi service is not available in our department; it is only provided in the library. The building of the department is old. There is no hostel on campus, and there is also no facility of mess or canteen available. There is only one cafeteria on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified from the college itself. Teaching quality is good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. This course readies students for the industry. Semester exams are a little bit hard but relevant to the syllabus. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I did choose this course because I am interested in the job of data analyst and data scientist. This course is an advanced version of Computer Science. To improve this course, more practical labs and seminars should be arranged. There are no events or fests happening in this college. Connectivity is good. The college is near the metro station. There are many scholarships that come to the college and are provided according to your rank.

College infrastructure is not up to the mark, but the college fee is very low.
Placements: Placement is good. Most of the average students get placement easily. When we ask our seniors, they always tell us that if we study like average students, we will get a decent package, and if above average students can get a respectable package.
Infrastructure: There is no boys' hostel in our college, but there is a decent girls' hostel. No Wi-Fi or AC in classrooms and a very small campus size. The infrastructure is also very old in our college. There is a good library, but our college canteen is always busy, and it also has decent labs.
Faculty: Exams are really good, and all exams are conducted on campus only. We can guess paper by practicing old question papers, which can easily be found in our college library. There is an invigilator in every classroom and they conduct a fair exam every time.
Other: No fest in our college, they conduct some events, but they are so bad. The college canteen always has a large crowd, in there are no seats available in the canteen.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. B.Tech course placements in the college are very good. To get placements in the college, we require skills and knowledge of the particular course. Samsung, Escorts JCB, Amazon, and Flipkart are top MNCs that visit our university for placements. Many students get placed with good packages of more than 8 LPA. The average package of the placements is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very good. All the buildings of the university are red. Wi-Fi facility is provided to students. Classrooms are very big and comfortable. The library facility is very good. Medical facilities are available. Games and sports facilities are very good for students.
Faculty: Faculty members of the university are knowledgeable and highly skilled. Teachers help students during exams. Teachers are very friendly and not rude to the students. Semester exams at the college are not so difficult. We can easily crack exams by studying 1 week before exams.

Complete guidance about YMCA.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.Tech from JC Bose University of Science and Technology with a specialization in data science. According to me, our college placement rate is only 10%. Many companies visit our college, like Google, Accenture, HCL, and TCS, but they offer very low packages, around four to five lakh, and they only recruit two or three students. That is very bad, so I advise you that if you are searching for a college for placement, YMCA is not good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also not good. There are many computers in the lab, but they are very low performance and very old. Some computers are not working properly. The college provides a hostel only for girls; there is no hostel for boys. This is the biggest disadvantage of our college. A few months ago, a mess opened in our college, but it does not provide good quality food.
Faculty: There are about 500 faculty members and about 100 staff, including librarians, instructors, and computer programmers. I enrolled in B.Tech Computer Science with a specialization in data science. According to me, it is the best branch in the whole B.Tech because it is a new branch that opened in the 2021 session. It focuses on statistics, so I recommend you choose data science over computer science.

YMCA- An affordable yet good university.
Placements: In 2024, the placement season was not as good as earlier years. The highest on-campus package was given by Samsung, which is 15.5 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA given by many companies. The average package was around 5 LPAs. The top recruiters were Samsung, Ion Digital Zone, Sirion Labs and Yamaha. This year, not many students have gotten internships because the companies that provide only internships are very few. Either they provided full-time employment or internship-plus full-time employment. Only 3–4 companies came for an intern role. The off-campus placement was quite good this year. One student in my class got selected on Google (off-campus). This was the best company a student grabbed in my batch and for on-campus, the best company was Samsung, which selected 10 students for a full-time role.
Infrastructure: The college provides wi-fi on the whole campus. One can access it after registering their devices. The classrooms are well furnished but the lights and fans are sometimes not working properly. Few classes have smart boards. The labs are quite good, with many computers and AC in them. The library is also good, with a vast range of books ranging from curriculum books to storybooks and journals. I was a day scholar, so I don't know much about hostels, but as far as I heard, the food quality is average.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were qualified and knowledgeable but only a few were helpful. The teaching quality depends on the teacher. Few teachers were very good but few were lazy. They did not take many classes and completed their syllabus in a rush in the last week of the semester. The course curriculum is relevant but it does not make a student industry-ready. The student has to focus on DSA and web development on their own to get a good job in the last year of the course. The semester exams were not very difficult and the checking was also easy in the computer department. A student needs to score around 40% to pass the exam.
Other: As per the feels structure, the college is quite good because the fees are affordable, which makes it easy for a student coming from an economically backward family to complete his/her studies. I chose this course because Data Science is an emerging branch with multiple job opportunities in the future. The best thing about my course is that I could choose whether I wanted to become a Data Scientist or a Software developer. The course covers the syllabus of both. One thing that could have been better in the course is faculty support. The teachers were not that supportive, which made it hard to get any work done in the college. The college campus is small, so there is a small crowd. For last 6 years, university has not conducted any festivals. It was so unfortunate I was not able to attend a single festival in my 4 years of engineering. The college is very near to the metro station and is located on Mathura Road. It has many clubs for students willing to participate in dancing, singing, art and craft, coding, sports, etc. The campus is surrounded by highway and other factors. The university provide scholarship to students coming from economically backward families and those who have caste quota. Overall, the college is good, as per the fee.

Affordable government University.
Placements: Placements in ymca are average. Approximately 70% students got placed every year. The average package provided by the companies are about 5-6 LPA. Mainly the college is popular by for mechanical engineer. But the students of CS it also get good job opportunities. Some of the top recruiting companies are Samsung, TCS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college are not so good. But we can say it's average as this is a government university. Hostel for boys in this college is for 1st year only and for girls it's for full period of course. Hostel requires proper maintenance which is not there.
Faculty: The faculty is average. Some of the teachers are guest faculty I. e. they are only for short period of time. But the teachers for the main subjects are permanent, nice in teaching and are senior teachers. The exams are conducted in a very organized way.

Our college is good for those who belong to Haryana in terms of placements and fees.
Placements: Placements in computer engineering and information technology courses are excellent but placements in other fields are average. You couldn't expect much in terms of placements from this college. Many top companies like Amazon, Adobe, and Samsung visit our campus. Around 89% of students in our batch get placed. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our department is enabled with Wi-Fi. They provide non-air-conditioned rooms and smart classes. It has neither a huge campus nor a huge infrastructure but enough facilities and opportunities are provided for our development. The college does not have sufficient hostel facilities for all students. For boys, hostels are available only in the 1st year.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and very helpful to students. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. Semester exams are mainly from the previous years' papers. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: Campus life is extraordinary and excellent. You will feel like a family. Students in our college are excellent. You can also engage in any activity or club according to your interest. I wanted to add that the crowd is a little bit high. As English is spoken very rarely on campus, you will find people speaking only Hindi. The overall grades are good.
