Quite satisfied with the college. Placements and infrastructure are good. It has value for money.
Placements: Placements of my B. Tech and Software Engineering branch are quite good. Nearly 60% of students got placed. The average salary package offered was about 20 LPA. The median package was about 15 LPA. I don't have an idea about core branches. But in the tech branch, if you keep a good CGPA and good skills, then you have a high chance of getting an offer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good. The department of my branch looks awesome. The labs and everything work well. Hostels of first year are a little bit bad because they are old but from second year onwards. Hostels are good too. Mess and canteen are also good. Our library is very good.
Faculty: Faculty are not very strict. They don't easily detain students due to low attendance. Faculty also teach well if you attend all of your classes. Curriculum is easier as compared to other colleges like IIT and NITs. So it is easier to score good CGPA with less efforts.
Other: I chose this course because it opens a large number of fields in the future. It is not a difficult course, so we can manage our college life too. Fests were good a couple of years ago, but last year there was a massive decline in the quality of fests. Students can get many scholarships.

Master of Technology (M.Tech) in SPD.
Placements: As listed, core companies like MediaTek, Broadcom, Ericsson, and GE offer job opportunities to M.Tech students in SPD after evaluating the performance of the students. In the initial period of joining, they offer lower pay of around Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Delhi Technological University is located across three to four locations in Delhi. Transportation is easily accessible on campus. Nearby e-rickshaws, buses, metro, and other transport facilities are available. Due to a huge crowd, traffic delays often occur. PGs and other hostels are not as costly as in Mumbai or Bangalore.
Faculty: Faculty members are often chosen from other localities, not only from the Delhi region. Around 50% of teachers are accommodated in hostel areas. The course covers various topics like signal processing, digital communication, VLSI, and others, which are hard to learn and pass. But teachers have rich knowledge of the subjects.

It's good to go.
Placements: There are placements but honestly if you work a little harder you can get better off-campus placements. Try to also stay connected with the main campus as you can grab more opportunities from there and it will be a great help. At last I would say it's moderate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best on this campus, fully air-conditioned but it's a small campus. Wi-Fi is there but it does not work. The library is too cool and good it has extended to half of a floor. You might find the campus smaller in area but it is better than DU.
Faculty: Faculty depends on the teacher you get. You can score 8-9 GPA easily if you focus a little and learn even 15 days before exams but in the end the faculty is the major factor. Most of the permanent faculty are cool and very helpful and only the guest ones are a problem.

A new journey begins in college.
Placements: Around 70-80% of the students who are eligible got placed in the best companies with an average package of 10-12 LPA, and the highest package last year was, I think, 85 LPA. Tech jobs are more in demand and have the highest packages, and the core jobs are fewer but have higher competition.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average, and the infrastructure is good. The library is also good, having Wi-Fi, books and a clean environment. Classrooms are good. I didn't allot a hostel because I live in Delhi, but I saw its average, and the condition of the room and mess is decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are good except for some, they forced us to do assignments and having 75% attendance criterion to maintain, but not all. They teach average, although you have to prepare on your own for exams. Curriculum is somehow relevant as the first year is for having the basics clear. The semester exam is not too difficult, not all subjects are difficult except for a few.

Why I chose DTU over other JAC colleges.
Placements: From what I have seen, around seniors and me, placements in my branch (CSE) are actually pretty strong with a good median package of 18 LPA. Almost everyone who is serious about placements ends up getting placed, so it is roughly 90-95%. The highest package offered is currently around 90 LPA, but those are rare. For most students, the average package offered ranges from 15-22 LPA. Companies like Google, BlackRock, Microsoft, Meesho, Amazon, Uber, and Goldman Sachs visit the college regularly, which is a big plus point. Internships are also quite common, and many get PPOs directly from those.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite decent, especially for CSE, software, IT, and MCE branch students. It is more than enough, as we have a special building called the twin towers. The department has well-equipped computer labs with updated systems. There is campus-wide Wi-Fi (though speed fluctuations occur) and classrooms with projectors. The library is spacious, useful, especially during exams, with a good collection of academic books and a proper reading area. Hostel facilities are manageable. Rooms are okay, not luxury, but livable. Mess food is average (sometimes good and some days not so great). The canteens offer a variety of food.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality varies. Some are very helpful, and others rely more on self-study. The course curriculum covers core CS fundamentals, but students still need extra effort (coding and projects) to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is generally high, with most students clearing exams if they start just before exams.
Other: I chose this college and course because of its flexibility. I have enough time here to focus on other things. The crowd is very good. Events and fests are the best here. There are also major scholarships for students, which is also a very good plus point.

DTU good or bad - reality.
Placements: Till January, around 45 percent of students are placed. Now the mass recruiter has come, who has taken most of the students, so now the average package will go down, and normal will increase. So we can say till today the average is 16 LPA to 17 LPA, and it will decrease to 12 LPA to 13 LPA till the end of the session.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is very poor, don't rely on Wi-Fi. In the hostel, there is no range you will have to buy your own. In summer, there is no water available in the hostel, the water is scarce. Kindly go for PG in 1st year, it will be good to take PG.
Faculty: The course is for about 15-20-year-old. It's not very helpful. Most students pass. No changes are made in the curriculum, but according to the new rules. Many students get back because they are not able to pass the exam. The semester exams are not much higher level, they are easy and moderate.

There isn't one magic book for LEET that guarantees admission to universities like DTU or Thapar. I've seen most students do well by first covering their Diploma basics properly and then practicing previous year papers as much as possible.

For Mathematics, books like R.S. Aggarwal are quite common, a
