There are way better options for humanities .

Placements: There's no on-campus placement in our department, which is the department of social justice and humanities. Campus placements are zero, and I don't think anybody in this year's passing job got any placement. In fact, there was no on-campus placement.

Infrastructure: The course and curriculum need lots of improvement; the classes are small and don't have AC. The hostel is nice, but the rooms need to be painted, and it's not as good according to the money that is being spent. Maintaining it is okay, but it needs improvement. Overall, it's nice.

Faculty: The faculty is nice and helpful, tries to bond with every student personally, and even teaches well. The professors are top-class. Exams are conducted on time, exams are medium hard, and one can score well if they concentrate in classes. Every semester, there are two exams: the midterm examination and the endterm examination.

It's worth joining if you are goal-oriented, focused and active.

Placements: No one was placed from my batch. There is no recruitment after B.A. Honors Psychology, because after B.A. hons., one needs to do specialisation in their field of interest to get a job.

Infrastructure: The college facilities are good, and everything is available. It depends on the crowd. The college provides many opportunities. The course is good, and the hostel facilities are the best. Hygiene is maintained in all areas, and we have laundry services. The hostel is the best, and they make everything possible.

Faculty: The faculty members are good, and they help in the best manner possible. They are highly experienced. The curriculum is beautifully designed, and it's perfect. They provide two additional subjects that help us to be industry-ready.

Other: The crowd is good, and I didn't find anything bad.

It's good overall but needs drastic change in the department of liberal arts and humanities

Placements: Overall Jagran Lakecity university is nice but the department of liberal arts and humanities is just not it. There's almost no placement opportunities in this department. In my information the batch that passed out this year didn't recieve any campus placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good overall of the entire University. Again, changes can be made in the department of liberal arts humanities like the classrooms don't have air conditioning facilities due to which it's extremely hot in summer time. The hostel is good with good facilities.

Faculty: The curriculum is a bit confusing and the subjects are oh no use like in the firt year we had "meaningful life". The subjects are easy but very different from what is being taught in other universities. Exams are conducted properly and are given importance.

Other: Minimum fests, no fun weird crowd

Great infrastructure with commendable facilities and placement opportunities.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not that good at JLU. However, the networking of faculties can get you placed in various government internships. JLU also collaborates with various organizations that provide great industrial exposure and placement opportunities at renowned firms like Ogilvy.

Infrastructure: We have a departmental library designed for psychology students with updated editions of books. All classrooms are equipped with projectors. A WiFi facility is also available for the students. The quality of the food available in the mess is average. The canteen is a bit expensive as per the food quality. The hostel facilities are good but need a lot of improvement. JLU has all the medical facilities needed in case of emergencies or any other medical illness.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful here. Their methodology of teaching is very unique, and they keep the classes very interactive and discussion-based. The course prepares the students and provides all the practical exposure that makes an individual industry-ready.

Other: The university organizes a lot of events, has great collaborations and connectivity with different organizations. It has different clubs in which students can participate and showcase their talents.
