GATE Mechanical Engineering
- Top 100 ranks usually require 85+ marks or a score of 900+

IIT Delhi OBC cutoff 2025 for JEE Advanced is yet to be released. However, during the last round cutoff in 2024, the JEE Advanced closing ranks for BTech admission varied between 89 and 3185 in the All India quota. In the first round, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission compared to the final round. Therefore, based on last year's cutoff ranks, a JEE Advanced rank of 7000 does not allow for admission at IIT Delhi for any BTech or Integrated BTech courses for students belonging to the OBC AI category.
IIT Madras BTech cutoff 2025 has been released for Round 1, wherein, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is the most competitive specialsiation with a closing rank of 171 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is B.Tech. in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering with a cutoff rank of 6926. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the BTech course must secure a rank upto 171 to be eligible for IIT Madras
IIT Madras admissio to the BTech course is based on JEE Advanced scores, followed by JoSAA counselling process.
IIT Roorkee is one of the top IITs which offer BTech courses based on JEE Advanced scores. Candidates with various All India categories has applied to get admission at IIT Roorkee for top courses like CSE, IT, and Artificial Intelligence. Among all the categories, the OBC AI category candidates encountered a cutoff range between 236 and 6973. Wherein, the CSE, and DS and AI cutoff stood at 236 and 421. Considering the cutoff data, we should aim a rank of 200 to get easy selection for the aforementioned courses in JEE Advanced exam 2025.
IISc Bangalore cutoff 2024 has been released for BSc (Research) in Physics in the form of opening and closing ranks. IISc Bangalore had released its last-round for the candidates seeking admission through JEE Main scores. The minimum rank for B.Sc. (Research) in Physics based on last-round cutoff was 903 for the students belonging to the General All India Quota.

The rank that you require to target for a particular specialisation at IIT Roorkee would depend on the category you belong to. If you belong to the General AI category, then you must target a rank of below 2033 for Electrical Engineering, as per the last round.
If you belong to the OBC AI category, then your target should be a rank below 1012. For the SC AI and ST AI category candidates, the target rank for Electrical Engineering should be below 560 and 298, respectively.

No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.
