IIT Delhi OBC cutoff 2025 for JEE Advanced is yet to be released. However, during the last round cutoff in 2024, the JEE Advanced closing ranks for BTech admission varied between 89 and 3185 in the All India quota. In the first round, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission compared to the final round. Therefore, based on last year's cutoff ranks, a JEE Advanced rank of 7000 does not allow for admission at IIT Delhi for any BTech or Integrated BTech courses for students belonging to the OBC AI category.
For admission to an MTech course at IIT Delhi, candidates must have a GATE score greater than or equal to the cut-off marks. The cut-off varies across the MTech specialisations and reservation categories of the candidates.
In addition, the cutoff list mentions the minimum marks and ranks that the aspirants should have secured for selection. The overall cutoff for GATE may lie between 350 and 800 marks. This cutoff range is as per an unofficial source and hence, is indicative.
Yes, with a rank of 500 in JEE Advanced, you have a good chance of getting admission to IIT Delhi for BTech and Integrated BTech courses. Candidates with cutoff ranks between 102 and 574 can easily secure admission at IIT Delhi. Additionally, students with ranks higher than 500 can study BTech CSE in top IITs in India.
The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Tirupatihas been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 15176. In 2023, it increased to 16658. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 5062 to 5635 for OBC, 2497 to 2875 for SC, 952 to 1199 for ST, 2244 to 2564 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories, however, the ranks are slightly different.
IISc Bangalore cutoff 2024 has been released for BSc (Research) in Physics in the form of opening and closing ranks. IISc Bangalore had released its last-round for the candidates seeking admission through JEE Main scores. The minimum rank for B.Sc. (Research) in Physics based on last-round cutoff was 903 for the students belonging to the General All India Quota.
