Real truth about MBM University.
Placements: In my college, out of 60 students, 23 were placed in the last year. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is 5.9 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Miniorange, Accenture, and Deltax. Internships are provided in the 2nd year, but there are fewer chances of getting internships,so go for off-campus internships. The top roles offered are Software Engineer,Assistant Engineer, and many more.
Infrastructure: In-depth labs are too old, they need to be renovated. Our computer labs, available library, also Wi-Fi available classrooms are good. Some classrooms have access to AC. Hostel life is good, not bad. Mess food is normal, not as good as, but you can survive, and quality is medium. The hostel rooms are old and need to be replaced with new hostel rooms for boys as well.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, they help students with academic problems. They are qualified with the best skills and knowledge, teaching quality is the best, as same as IIT. The curriculum is not relevant as of now days they are like history, there is no practical knowledge, and they need to be changed for a better future of students. Semester exams are timely conducted, and the difficulty level is medium to high, so prepare from the start.
Other: I chose this course because the IT branch is widely used in today's industry. MBM has built a strong alumni network over the past 50 years. I want to create a new pattern for practical knowledge and industry expert seminars. While college events are limited, some are organized by students.

The condition of the MBM College.
Placements: Placements here are very average. The average package is 6.25 LPA. Around 60% of students get placed. The highest package offered in the electrical branch is 13 LPA, the median is 6.5 LPA, and the average package is 6.9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Hovels, Panasonic, and Mini Range. The internship situation is not good here, the college did not help in getting you internships, and you have to apply for internships off campus.
Infrastructure: On a college campus, the infrastructure is quite old, Wi-Fi is not working properly, lab instruments are not working in condition, the library has books, but those books are very old and are of no use now. The hostel campus is 1.3 km away from the college, you can easily see cracked walls, and the quality of food is the worst. We have to spend money on eating fast food, because the food made in a mess is the worst. There are no medical facilities in hostels.
Faculty: Teachers here are very professional, but their interaction with students is near 0. Some of them are good, but most of them are not. The course curriculum is not relevant for practical life, but it is the same course as the GATE exam, so it is helpful in that way. Semester exams are easy to moderate, and 250 students out of 890 students pass in all subjects every year.
Other: I chose this course because I want to prepare for the GATE exam, and electrical is the best branch that provides you with both private and government job options. On the basis of my GATE result, I will decide what to do further. If I get a chance to improve something, then I will make it more visualization-related. Events here happened rarely. In my first year, there were no good events that happened here, we had to depend on nearby colleges for the events. The surroundings have one problem that they are divided into groups.

Honest Review of MBM University.
Placements: If we talk about placement, about 50 percent of the students get placed in this college. Our highest package is about 18-20 lacs, and the average package is about 7 lacs, while the minimum package is about 3 lacs. The highest package in the IT sector is 15 lacs. If we talk about internships, very few companies come to our college for this.
Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, it is not up to the standard. All the buildings need renovation. The building where 1st-year classes are held is the worst. Labs are good, but some instruments are broken and have not been replaced yet. Our hostel is not on the campus; it is about 2 km away, and its capacity is only 240 students. So, many students live in PGs. The food in the hostel is good.
Faculty: All the teachers are more than qualified in the college. They have knowledge of their subject and are very approachable. Some course curricula are not relevant, but it happens in all colleges. As for the semester exams, they are not that difficult. If a student studies normally, they can achieve a good rank in the semester.
Other: We have many events in the college, like Techkirti and Encarta. We also have sports events for students who are interested in sports.

Best government engineering college.
Placements: 66%-70% of my course and other branch students have gotten placements. The maximum on-campus placement this year is 20 LPA, while the average package is almost 8-9 LPA. The highest package offered off-campus has a whopping 51 LPA from Microsoft. Nearly all the students got internships at various reputed tech companies. Many successful founders also have connections with the college. This year, 2025, 20 LPA is the highest from CSE.
Infrastructure: One of the oldest engineering colleges in Rajasthan, its infrastructure is similarly old. The library is well-stocked with a decent number of books. The boys' hostel is old, while the girls' hostel is newly built. The mess serves average food. There's a government dispensary right in front of the hostel campus, and sports grounds are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and in the technical branch, most of the teachers are guest faculty. The course curriculum is very relevant, as it is quite close to the syllabus of several competitive exams, such as GATE, DRDO, banking, etc. It also has a focus on placement, thereby making it very effective and beneficial for students.
Other: If you want to do a degree from a good government college, you should definitely take admission, and it's good for core branches.

MBM college is good or bad.
Placements: All branches have an average package of almost 6-7 LPA, except for mining, where the average package is almost 15 LPA, the second-highest average package after IIT Dhanbad. Main recruiting companies are Vedanta, L&T, HCL, TCS, Hero, JK Cement, Maruti, etc. Most students get internships in their 3rd year. All branches have almost 70% of students placed, but mining has almost 100% of students placed.
Infrastructure: MBM University Jodhpur has a spacious campus that carries a blend of heritage charm and modern facilities. The infrastructure is a mix. Some departments are still in older historic buildings, while others have newer blocks and renovated labs with upgraded equipment. The gardens are not well-maintained; they have very long grass. MBM needs well-trained gardeners very much.
Faculty: In this college, the permanent and guest faculty ratio is almost 1:4. All the permanent faculty members are excellent. Their teaching style is fabulous. However, the guest faculty members are not very qualified; they seem to have completed their education with a lack of integrity. The curriculum is very good; if anyone learns the syllabus, they can also clear the GATE exam easily by doing some practice. Exams are very much difficult.
Other: If the university has good maintenance, then it will become much better. The campus crowd is good. Mostly, students are from Rajasthan. The campus is in the city. There are a few fests and events, generally 2-3.

Review of MBM Engineering College.
Placements: Our college placements are average in some branches, but very good in fields like Electrical Engineering, Mining, and Computer Science. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies that visit our college include Mahindra and Vedanta.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is poor. Buildings are broken, and ceiling fans in classrooms do not work properly. The canteen is very small, so we rarely visit it as there is not enough space for all students. Medical facilities are not provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They have great knowledge of our course and assist every student. Semester exams are held in May and December, lasting for about 15 days. There are generally 5 to 6 practical exams and 5 to 6 theory papers, each consisting of 100 marks.

One needs to have 48-50% marks in graduation to get admission to JNVU - Jai Narain Vyas University for MBA. There is no such percentage criteria mentioned to have in Class 12th, for one to be eligible to get an admission in JNVU for MBA. Although the criteria for Bachelor's courses in JNVU requires one to have above 50-60% (the exact figure depends on which course one wants to pursue), so to be on the safer side one should have atleast 50% marks in Class 12th. Although again there is no such criteria explicitly mentioned.

Q:   Does Jai Narain Vyas University accept the scores of CUET UG for admission to BCom courses?
A:

Jai Narayan University does not accept any entrance examinations for BCom courses. Instead, admission to BCom courses is based on merit in the last qualifying exam and counselling at the university level. Candidates must also have passed Class 12 from a recognised board of education.
