Jain University BSc eligibility is different based on specialisations. Students must have cleared their 12th standard. For most courses, 50% is the minimum criteria. For BSc Cardiac Technology, students are to pass 12th with minimum 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, and a pass in English. The minimum score required in 12th to be eligible for a BSc in Brand Identity and Visual Communication is 65%.

Yes, Jain (Deemed-to-be-University) offers direct (lateral) admission to Engineering courses. The university's direct admission is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. Admission to Lateral Entry is done entirely merit-based. There is no entrance exam required for the selection of candidates. Admissions are done based on the merit of candidates in the previous qualifying exam. In BTech Lateral Entry course, admission is given on the valid percentage of candidates acquired in a Diploma course. Once candidates fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and qualify the selection process, they are called for a counselling process. 

JET is Jain University entrance test. For admission, the applicant has to appear for and clear the JAIN Entrance Test JET which includes a written test, group discussion, and Personal Interview. Candidates can follow the steps below to apply for JET :

4. Upload documents
5. Fee Payment.

The final placement report 2024 is yet to be released. Once it is released, the number of recruiters will be updated here. However, in 2022, more than 550 recruiters participated and placed students in new-age job roles. The list of recruiters included Amazon, TCS, Deloitte, IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, etc. These recruiters placed students of BTech, M.Tech and MBA in various domains with handsome packages.
