Greater like newer before "The Jain.
Placements: Placement started with the internship department approaching us to participate in the event named "Shubharambh," through which I was placed at EastMojo as a Social Media Intern. They offer a stipend of 10,000 rupees. In campus placements, the average package is 5.2 LPA, and the highest package in history is 42 LPA. Media houses and news agencies such as TV9, Sun TV Network, Balamuri News Agencies, and Utsah hire students. The placement percentage in our batch is 93.23%, and the roles given include Content Writers, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is located in a very busy area, with one-way roads being a minor inconvenience. At the start, during Fresher's Day, we are introduced to the Media Fest team, Toastmasters, Sports team, etc. Many events are conducted on campus, including Khelo India 2023, with some games held at our college. We are offered top-quality facilities such as a gym, library, studio room, editing setup, etc. The college lacks football equipment. Hostel rooms are good, with 3 B.Ed cupboards and 2 rooms sharing 1 combined balcony. They mention that the water is filtered, but it does not taste like RO.
Faculty: We have only 25 students in the class, so lectures are more engaging and interactive, and we receive more attention from teachers. Everything used for learning is digital, including online notes, and they play videos of many journalism techniques and studios. Teachers are well-experienced and qualified. In the course, the first two semesters introduce us to audio & visual media, print media, PR advertising, film making, journalism, editing, etc. In print media, we learn about newspapers, writing, and magazines. From the third semester onwards, we delve deeper into journalism and do internships. The overall course is distributed into 100 marks, with 50 marks for assignments, college activities, and internships, and the remaining 50 marks are based on university examinations, which are tough. The private hostel does not have good facilities; we have washing machines for use.
Other: Jain is a top institute for MAJ. It has overall developed me as a person, and lastly, I thank my college; it has changed me a lot as a person.

All together, I like our college.
Placements: Recently, our college provided internships and placements in Zee Media. There was good hype and students actually enjoyed the placements and internships that the college provided. Mostly 4-5 students got in. Recruitment was in a good way where students can show their talents and get them. The top roles offered are social media head, radio jockey, video jockey, director, and many more.
Infrastructure: We have a good infrastructure for our course. In our college, there is a recording lab where we can shoot and the basic facilities are also good. We do have Wi-Fi but that is not for everyone but can be used in the computer lab for information we need. The classrooms have cameras and smart boards with projectors.
Faculty: The facilities are amazing in our college. They are the best in their work and the exams could be more interesting. Some subjects are good but could be more interesting and it also helps us in our future roles. College does a strict checking standards and the pass percentage is around 35% and above.
Other: The campus crowd is actually good. The people are nice and friendly. There are good and interesting fests that our college participates in inter-college events. The course material or subject could be more interesting.

I am also very dissatisfied because of the faculty, infrastructure, etc.
Placements: Around 60% of the students are placed from college with an average salary package. Top recruiting companies of the course are Aaj Tak, India News, and ABP news. The percent of students for internships from the course is very high.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. Because of COVID-19, only once I went to college, and the campus is very small and cozy, it doesn't feel like college. There is no ground available, and no sports activities are there, and I think hostel rooms are also not there inside the campus, but we can get hostels outside the campus provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified and also knowledgeable but the teaching quality is not very good because the online classes are going on. It does make the student industry-ready but as the covid-19 is going on so we can't go to college and use the infrastructure and the equipment required for the course.

Our college provides a good curriculum and is a worthy place to learn.
Placements: There is no particular percentage for media masters to attend placements as it is all based on the skills of the students. The salary package offered cannot be generalised as it varies highly. Companies which visit the campus for media are news channels, startups and advertisement agencies. Companies vary depending on interest, and you are free to suggest any known company to the placement cell to invite. Then they all take the required steps.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really good. The building was compact, but it was well built with facilities required to meet courses need. The food provided here is hygienic, and it is purely vegetarian. You have to walk for a while if you prefer non-vegetarian food. The hostel facility is also provided by taking care of special needs.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers here can be improved, but it is really better compared to other colleges. The course curriculum is good, but you are demanded to have a grip on practical skills. You are required to meet your deadlines on time. They also provide continuous assessments for students, which provide an outlook on their improvement in the course in which they are studying.
Other: Events are organised pretty much, and the scope to learn had made me chose this course and college. I wish that our college should improve teaching standards and should add in-depth teaching. Overall, it is a very nice place to learn, enjoy and grow. Faculty members are really supportive.

The campus and crowd are good, but faculty can be improved.
Placements: There are not many students in the class, and on average, there are almost 30-35 students. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. All the students in our class got an internship. Other courses, like BBA and B.Com, have more opportunities.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not sufficient. There is a studio but not soundproof. The library is fine. The quality of the food in the canteen is fine, but there's is not enough food stalls. There is a space available for sports and games but on other campuses of the university. The hostel and the food are also good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified, but there's mismanagement with the faculty. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Faculty members were changed in the mid and end of the semester, during exams it was difficult to cope up with such things and prepare for exams.
Other: I have chosen this course as I always wanted to study this course. There should be more faculty members in our course and also extracurricular activities. Events and actives are conducted for bachelor courses, but not for MA in journalism.

Teachers are true professionals and with studies there is special focus on extra-curricular activities as well. I have had the most amazing college life @ Jain College JC Road Bangalore branch.
