Our college placements are fine and fee is high.

Placements: Placements are 80 to 85%. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 to 3 LPA while the highest salary package is 40 to 46 LPA. Biotechnology has the highest salary package of 8 to 10 LPA. Nestle, Cognizant, and other IR companies offer placements. College doesn't provide internships for biotechnology students. We do an internship in pathology labs privately and in government.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice. Facilities and labs are good. Hostel is fine but fee charged is too much according to the facilities. Permissions are not flexible in case of emergency. There is a small basketball court and cricket ground. There are many societies for dance, acting, fashion, coding, and many more. There is a lot to explore apart from academics.

Faculty: Teachers have good knowledge. The course curriculum is amazing. Moderate level exams because question paper depends on the faculty. Around 60% attendance is must. Pass criteria is minimum 15 marks out of 75 and 25 marks are internal.

Other: I was interested in biotechnology so I chose this course. Best thing is you will learn amazing techniques related to Biology. Some subjects offered as electives from other departments are not applicable. After covid, there are no offline activities like fests and extracurricular.

It provides average placements.

Placements: This college provides good placements at highly prestigious and renowned companies with lucrative packages. However, the placements were not that good in the biotechnology field, especially for M.Tech biotech students. The offers were limited for someone who would like to continue in wet laboratories due to which many shift their focus to dry laboratory jobs and end up lending market research kind of job profiles. The top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Wipro, Grail Insights, Cognizant, and many.

Infrastructure: It provides laboratory tools and other stuff was brilliant. The library, software laboratories, and canteen areas all remain up to the mark. Lecture theaters and rooms were all air-conditioned and ventilated. Hostel rooms were adequately spaced for two students to stay comfortably.

Faculty: The curriculum was well designed and organized in such a manner that was best suited to everyone's intellect. It was easy to follow. Every semester there were three unite tests that combine at the end to fetch the result. Exams were easy, if a student goes through all the tutorials and lectures being provided.

Other: The crowd was good. The campus and hostel life were good in this college. It conducts recreational activities, hubs, competitions, and fest, everything works wonders to maintain a good balance between academics and co-curriculum.

It has a very good infrastructure and very supportive faculty members.

Placements: Biotechnology doesn't get many offers related to the course. There are many non-tech positions that do take biotech students. The biotechnology department provides a lot of guidance and helps in finding internships, and it also provides internships to students for further research.

Infrastructure: The food is great and hygienic. The library is good and provides quality books. Labs are equipped with quality equipment for good practical experience, and classrooms are spacious. There are well-maintained courts for basketball, badminton, and volleyball.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive and provide materials to get a grasp on concepts. They also show real-life applications to make studies more relevant. The biotechnology department holds multiple workshops and events to guide students and give a better insight into the course.

Other: During the COVID times, there haven't been any fests. A few hubs are active. I am a part of Jaypee DebSoc, which is the debating society of JIIT Noida, as a Secretary. It is one of the most active hubs holding regular meetings competitions.
