Jiwaji is a good university for any stream.
Placements: Placements are around 40%, with more than a thousand students participating. The maximum package is around 10 lakhs, while the minimum is 3 lakhs. Some big firms visit the campus, and to secure a good internship, you typically need more than 80% marks. Most job opportunities are for lawyers, but there are occasional opportunities to become judges.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the classrooms are well-furnished and equipped with all necessary facilities. Although I don't live in the hostels, some of my friends do, and they say the food quality is good, and the medical facilities are also satisfactory. I don't participate in sports, so I can't comment on that.
Faculty: All the teachers in my class are well-educated, highly qualified, and always willing to help. The teaching quality is excellent, making it easier to learn. Passing the semester exams isn't too difficult if you study hard, and around 85% of students pass their exams.
Other: I want to become a lawyer because it's a fulfilling profession where you can help people achieve justice through the law. However, I feel that five years is a long time to complete the course.

Faculty and infrastructure is good, but there are no placements at all.
Placements: There are no placements for the students pursuing B.A. LL.B. from Jiwaji University. Also there is no company which collaborates with the university. The college provides internship opportunities for the students in NGOs. One of the NGO, where I get an opportunity to work in an internship programme, is Zenith Society. It provides legal aid in rural areas.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good as per the government universities, but there is no availability of Wi-Fi. The labs for the students are good and the library is only available for the students. Hostel is well maintained, the food in the mess of the hostel is also perfect. There are no medical facilities available.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and highly qualified as they have done their Ph.Ds. They pay attention to each and every student with one class having 60 students. The semester exams are moderate as if they are prepared using the past years papers. The passing percentage is 45%.
Other: I chose to do law from this university because there is no attendance related issue for the last 2 years which is a plus point for me as it gives me a lot of time to prepare for the civil services exams.

Good faculty, good sports and cultural infrastructure but a below average placement structure.
Placements: Basically if we talk about placement in law stream, it doesn't happen in Jiwaji University from almost last 8-10 years. Just because of that students generally prefer to opt litigation (Practising as an Advocate) or go for Judicial Services exam. Every student in our college of law stream get internship in 4th year of studies under senior advocates in the district and nation wide, as it's mandatory for the curriculum.
Infrastructure: Our college consists of all the basic modern facilities like 24x7 Wi-Fi, Computer Labs, Adequate smart classrooms for every batch, a vast library which consists of many legal books and rulings, our college also have a well functional moot court, full AC seminar hall, conference hall and an indoor table tennis court. As I was a day scholar, I haven't lived in the hostel but as I was elected as University President. I used to visit hostels, which were more or less clean, in which girls hostels were more cleaner then the boys hostels. The mess of hostels were run under a committee consisting of students which was monitored by the hostel warden, the committee gets changed every month which allows almost each hostel student to get into it. University campus also have 2 small and 1 big canteen which was run by the private company. University also had adequate medical emergency rooms in every department and last to last year our University also started a 50 bed hospital in or Ayurvedic Science department. University campus also have well functional gym, a gymnasium hall, 1 outdoor cricket stadium, 1 Football court, 2 basketball court, running tracks for athletes, 2 Volleyball courts as well.
Faculty: The best this about this University was the professors and lecturers, as all for then were NET qualified and Ph.D. holders and had an experience of 5-7 years in teaching and maximum of 24-25 years. They guided overall every student naturally by themselves which created a student friendly atmosphere in the University.
Other: As Institute of Law of Jiwaji University is somewhat famous in central India for its law stream, I opted this course. I only want our University to make the placement cell functional and more placements should come to our college. Fest happen very often in the University, in the 5000 seater Indoor auditorium, an open amphitheater and a 1000 seater small auditorium. As Jiwaji ia a government run University, the government. Schemes for scholarships for the reserved class and scholars apply here.

If you want to do self-study, then you can opt for it.
Placements: There are no placements, but if you can do self-study, then you can opt for it. You can be placed by yourself as there are many good alumni of this university, and I placed just after my 10 days of final exams. It totally depends up on you to get yourself a job. Overall, I will rate 3 out of 5.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Jiwaji University is very good. There are many playgrounds, gym, volleyball court, badminton court, football grounds, well-ventilated classrooms, running track with much greenery on the campus. Hostels are quite good. Food is average, and medical facilities are available here.
Faculty: There are well-qualified professors. The course curriculum is relevant, and there are specialised teachers and good mentors. They will help you whenever in need, but you have to be a self curious student. Internships, national moot courts, national seminar, legal aid society are also available here.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and events.
Placements: There was no placement in this field. The university did not provide any placement programme. Many students get the chance of internship from the college every year. Each student has the opportunity of internship in High court by the college in final year.
Infrastructure: There are several facilities in the college. The college provide Wi-Fi campus, a well-settled library from where you can issue books and a separate reading room for students. There is a separate room where you can use the internet with PCs. A proper computer lab, smart classrooms, seminar hall and very good faculty.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching skills are awesome. They have proper knowledge of their stream. The faculty is very much helpful. The course is curriculum relevant and of course, it makes students industry ready.
Other: I have interest in law as well as my aim is to become a civil judge. My college is perfect in every way.
