The mode of admissions at the Jiwaji University varies from one course to another. Jiwaji University admission is both merit and entrance-based. Candidates seeking direct admission to the university could apply for courses such as MA and MSc, in which the admission is given on the basis of the merit of the last qualifying exam. Jiwaji University BCom admission 2024 is merit-based. Given below is the Jiwaji University BCom admission process:

STEP 1: Application Process

Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to visit the official website of the University, fill in the details, upload the documents and, pay the application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) together with INR 200 registration per subject through MP Online. For every course, the registration fee of INR 200 per course/ subject has to be paid along with the application fees of INR 1,000 at the kiosk centre.

Candidates should go through the advertisement published in newspapers or University websites followed by which, they must fill up the form or can go to the kiosks of MP Online and ask them for submission of admission form.

Candidates have to take the printouts of the admission form cum receipt of payment and a Proctorial Board form and are required to submit the printout of the application.

STEP 2: Selection Criteria

After the last date of filling out the admission form, the list of provisionally admitted candidates will be displayed on the University's website. All such provisionally admitted candidates have to deposit the prescribed Jiwaji University BCom fees.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

Jiwaji University offers admission to various UG and PG level programmes on the basis of merit and valid scores of accepted entrance exams. The University considers a minimum aggregate of 45% to 60% in Class 12 and/or 50% to 55% in graduation, depending on the level of the course candidate must have opted for. In addition to this, for majority of courses, candidates must secure valid scores in CUET UG/PG, CMAT, NEET PG, GATE or other valid entrance exams. 

Gwalior University, through various schools of study, colleges, and 29 departments, offers UG, PG, Diploma, and various other courses to students. The 419 affiliated colleges provide 100 courses across the Commerce, Science, Law, and various other streams. Students can avail admission to Jiwaji University Gwalior distance education with the basic eligibility criteria. The University is popular for its flagship MBA and BTech courses. The University offers courses such as BSc, BBA, BVoc, MBA, BCom, BCA, LLM, BA LLB, BCom LLB, BEd, MSc, BPharma and many more courses in full-time as well as distance mode.

As one of the most in-demand course, Jiwaji University offers BSc as a 3-4 years course in full-time mode. Admission to the respective course is offered on the basis of valid scores of merit. Therefore, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% to 60% in Class 12 and must secure valid scores in institution-level exams. Furthermore, the University offers BSc at a total tuition fee of worth INR 16 K to INR 4.2 Lakh. 

Jiwaji University offers an academically inclined curriculum. However, the Institute faculty conducts various events, activities, industry visits, and curriculum-based activities to cater to the curriculum advances, along with extracurricular. The faculty provides a well-designed curriculum that fits and creates a balance between academics along every other extracurricular activity. The University conducts various cultural, social, and academically inclined events and activities which also promote inclusivity for the diverse range of students.

For the admission to majority of courses at Jiwaji Gwalior, candidates are required to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in the previous qualification exams. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category, a relaxation of 5% will be provided. For courses such as BE, MCA, MBA, DPharma, BPharma and others, the University considers valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main and DTE, Bhopal and others, varying course to course.
