at JNTU Anantapur, Anantapur

Candidates who has a bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate in any subject from a recognised institute are eligible fot the MBA programme at JNTUA. Eligible candidates must apply via JNTUA's official website and follow the admission procedure. Candidates must later participated in the counselling process to get seat allottment for the MBA programme. Additionally, candidates must qualify in the national-level entrance exams, such as:

JNTU Anantapur offers two-year MBA course in Fintech. Fintech is a specialisation in management field, that prepares students in management, consulting, technology, digital business and data analytics. The subjects offered in the Fintech specialisation at JNTU Anantapur include:

To get admission to a four-year MBA course at Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Anantapur, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place, i, e., Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate from a recognised university. 

Eligible candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam Andhra Pradesh ICET. Candidates with a valid score in the exam become applicable for the counselling rounds. AfAPSCHE will announce AP ICET 2025 counselling dates at icet-sche.aptonline.in soon after results are announced. After the counselling rounds, candiates are shortlisted for final admission. In the final steps candidates are required to pay the JNTUA MBA fees to finalise the admisssion. 

MBA is PG course in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur. The fees of MBA course is around INR 60,000. 

The placement percentage is low. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro and many other visit the campus every year for placement. It is worth noting that students who score above 75% are eligible to sit in the coding test while below 50% may not be eligible for placement.

In 2021, average package was INR 3.84 LPA while in 2023 it increased to INR 5 LPA.

Hence, the placement percentage is fairly low.

There is no other way to get admission to a full-time MBA course at JNTUA. Therefore can't apply for MBA at JNTUA without an entrance examination. JNTU, Anantapur has not yet announced its the highest package for 2024; however, the median package for both courses, BTech and M.Tech stood at INR 4.20 LPA.

JNTU Anantapur accepts EAMCET examination conducted by APSCHE. Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) an entrance examination conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. 

To be eligible for the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET course for the BTech course candidates must have Class 12 in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as optional subjects along with bridge course exam in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt, of AP/Telangana only. 

BTech course is popular among the students as its provides a wide range of job opportunities. BTech graduate students are mainly hired by rapidly growing technology sector in both Private and Government sectors. The sectors offers good salaries. 

Talking about the Government sector jobs, BTech students are frequently hired by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) including ONGC, IOCL, NTPC, and BHEL for a variety of technical and administrative positions. Some government jobs available for BTech graduates are presented in the table below:

JNTU Anantapur does offers BTech in CSE or Computer Science Engineering. The course is offered at UG-level lasting for four years in a full-time mode. The CSE course includes subjects such as Java, Python, data structure, algorithms, operating systems, computer and optical networking, etc. 

Admission to the regular BTech courses is done through the Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. The final seat allotment is done based on TS EAMCET counselling.
