- The Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2025 final seat allotment results for Round 1 have been announced for admission to MBA, MCA, and ME/MTech courses. Candidates allotted seats in this round must pay the fees till Oct 8, 2025, and report to their allotted colleges by Oct 9, 2025.
- The KCET Counselling 2025 Round 3 final seat allotment results have been published for admission to BE/BTech courses.
- The GATE 2026 online application process is currently open for admission to ME/Mtech course. The last date to apply without fine fee has been extended to Oct 6, 2025. The GATE 2026 exam will be held on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

Good infrastructure and placements in all years.
Placements: Expect around 94-95% placement for ISE students (2022 batch). The highest package is 21 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Average package is 16 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon, McKinsey, Deloitte, PWC, HP, Intel, Bosch, SAP, and Zensar Technology. Another student cited HP, Fidelity, Zensar, Aurigo, etc.
Infrastructure: SJCE Mysore offers a solid infrastructure foundation for its academic and extracurricular programs, especially for departments like ISE that benefit from modern labs, reliable Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, and a vast library. Campus also supports wellness and student life through sports, medical services, and recreational space. Hostel life is comfortable and convenient, though your experience may vary based on shared facilities and mess quality. Students note that the food can be average or repetitive, so keeping expectations balanced can help.
Faculty: Faculty members are solid and knowledgeable teaching base, though consistency varies. Curriculum is overall well-turned for industry needs, especially in tech-oriented branches. Exam performance depends on preparation, some exams may be tough, others routine. Pass rates diverge widely, seek clarity within specific departments or batches for deeper accuracy.
Other: Our auditions [for Jayciana] are bigger than some college fests. You will have fun for an entire month. Our college has lush green garden, old architecture buildings, large empty places to study or hang out. There will be an inter-branch sports competition. There are many clubs. We have a separate hostels, and our campus is big.

College placements are great, and facilities are also great, but the infrastructure is lacking.
Placements: As our branch is primarily based on Computer Science and Business Systems, financial-based companies come in majority for placements. The highest package is 56 LPA in 2025, and now for the 6th semester students, the placement cum internship is going on. The major recruiters are JP Morgan, Stanley, Juspay, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in the college is quite less compared to other private colleges. The quality of living in the hostel is poor, and the food quality is also very low. The sports and games there provide great exposure. The Wi-Fi network speed is average.
Faculty: Course includes financial subjects which prepare students with soft skills, and the students also get guidance from great faculty members. The teachers are well experienced and have done extensive research on their topics. The semester exams can be passed easily with minimum effort, so you can focus on external activities and developing skills.

Honest review of JSS Science and Technology University.
Placements: Around 60%-70% of students get placed every year from our branch. The highest salary package offered is around 2 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Amazon, Biocon, etc. Visit for hiring. Internship opportunities are very low in our course. They offer the post of research management, etc.
Infrastructure: We don't have a proper classroom for our branch. Our classes are conducted in a lab and also in other branches, there are shortage of classrooms. We have air-conditioners in labs. Hostel facilities are also not that good. Food hygiene is not maintained. There are no medical facilities available. They give more priority to games and sports but now they are not at all giving priority.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in every way and they are friendly too. They teach well and all teachers have their Ph.D. degree. Course curriculum is relevant for students. The curriculum focuses on practical knowledge. Semester exams are average difficult and the passing marks for every subject are 40%.
Other: I chose Biotechnology Engineering because I have a passion for biology. The best thing about our course is we could design vaccines and gain more knowledge about research. There is nothing specific that needs improvement, and I'm happy with our course. There were many events and fests in the past, but now they do not give priority to these things.

College is very good, with a good quality of education.
Placements: 20-40% of the students were placed in the campus selection. 6 LPA is the highest average package offered in our course. Plan Source is the top recruiting company in that batch. There are 3 to 4 roles offered in our course. Totally, placement was average.
Infrastructure: The course and hostel were very good. Wi-Fi connection with smart class makes our course effective in learning. Classrooms were well-maintained with furniture and desks. Hostel faculty was very good, and good quality and healthy food was given to the hostel students.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful for studying. Teachers were with a good quality of knowledge; they were giving a good quality of knowledge to their students, which can be helpful in their future. Semester exams were tough. The passing percentage is 99%. Totally, it was good.

Absolutely One of the best college in Mysuru and the placements are best in Mysore!
Placements: Last year, 100% of students from Information Science and Computer Science were placed. The highest package was around 52 LPA, whereas the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average package would be around 8 LPA. Commvault and Intel are the top recruiting companies in our college. Around 50-60% of students get internships in CS and IS branches. Software development and testing are the top roles in our course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and have wooden benches. We have good Wi-Fi available to all students; even library facilities are available. We have a very big library; even digital libraries are available to students. Labs are well-equipped. All kinds of games are in our college including basketball, tennis, badminton, GYM area, football, cricket, etc. Mess food is not bad!
Faculty: Faculty of our branch is one of the best in our college. Chillest faculty you will ever meet in college and are very helpful in terms of academics. Curriculum is almost the same as VTU's curriculum. SEM end exams will be hill and not so difficult, and pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: Faculty is one of the best things in our IS department, placement is also really good, and as usual, improvement is required in our course. Fest is one of the best in South India! Our fest is called JAYCIANA! And Mysorians know about this fest a lot!

Moderately satisfied with the college, because of some good faculty members.
Placements: Placements are good in the college. 85% of students got placed from college. Good companies like ITC and TCS visit for campus recruitment. Usually, managerial roles are offered by good companies with a minimum of 6 LPA. Placement cell is very good with a high number of recruiters coming to the college.
Infrastructure: College campus is breathtaking. A good lawn and garden with high-tech facilities and infrastructure of the college is a highlight. Good computer labs are available, and library with books for students. Hostel facility is average with 7:00 PM as the curfew time. Hostel food is also okayish with a little strict warden.
Faculty: Teachers are good and some are not so good. The teaching quality is good with new-age technology. Course curriculum is good and relevant. Semester exams are slightly difficult as it's an autonomous university. So exams are slightly on the upper level of difficulty.
Other: I chose MBA because it's going to upskill me mainly. MBA is not just to learn about concepts but it's mainly to transform ourselves into a better person with high skill good communication skills. A lot of events are conducted here. Also, a national-level management fest is conducted every year with amazing cash and job rewards.
