Campus life is good, placements are great, and infrastructure is very nice.
Placements: 80% of students get placed on our campus, and the highest is 15 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are BMW and Mercedes. Around 60% of students will get internships in top companies like BMW. Designing is the top role offered, and also fabrication.
Infrastructure: We have all the infrastructure in our college, including Wi-Fi, classrooms, libraries, and a reference room. It is really calm to study in the reference room and library. The quality of food can be improved in the hostel. Sports and games are good; we have various games to play.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and approachable, not all, but many. Most of them are extremely knowledgeable, and they will teach us in a very systematic way so that we can understand. Semester exams are easy, as we have all the notes required, and the pass percentage is high.
Other: I opted for this course because placements for girls are high, and nothing else is good. Many events will be happening on the campus.

Good college for engineering.
Placements: Our college placements are pretty fine, with more than 60 percent of students getting placed in their final year. A huge number of companies come for recruitment and offer a good package for students. The minimum package offered is 3 LPA, and the maximum package offered is 55 LPA. TCS is the major recruiter.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructure is excellent here, and the students have a good environment for studying. A good number of playgrounds are present for sports. I am not a hosteller, so I do not have a good idea about hostels, but its good. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the college.
Faculty:
I am doing mechanical engineering, which I am doing with passion. The management curriculum is excellent, providing an industrial exposure and experience. The exams are easy to score if you concentrate well enough. The lecturers are well qualified and experienced.

The best college in our city.
Placements: There is a dedicated placement and training department in our college which takes care of our placements. The placement for students starts in the 5th semester, and many reputed companies come to our college for recruitment. More than 65 percent of the final-year students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: The college has facilitated two hostels for students, our hostel has good facilities and Wi-Fi. The course here is academically excellent, providing good technical domain knowledge to students. Our college has the best infrastructure in the city, it has several playgrounds, labs with the latest instruments etc.
Faculty: The faculty of our department are very friendly and helpful, they assist us in all matters. The exams here are held in a very strict manner, and students are to adhere to strict rules, else the students will be fined and punished if they are proven guilty.

Compared to previous years placements will be good in 2026.
Placements: There is no need to worry about placements in SJCE, especially in our branch. There are really good placements and around 85-90% of students get placed this year. I heard that the highest salary package offered is 29 LPA. The mechanical branch has good placements, especially for girls.
Infrastructure: I am not satisfied with the hostel a bit because of their facilities and negligence but we can manage it. The JSS Ladies Hostel in Hootagali surroundings are not safe, so we cannot go on a walk in the evening as it is too much scary because people are not good there.
Faculty: Faculty members in our branch are not too bad. I am not satisfied with them completely. Exams are set easily, and they are not too much tough. As compared to VTU, exams are quite easy and they are very useful for future semesters. Their teaching is good.

Satisfied by joining this college .
Placements: I am still in my first year, but as per my knowledge, 70%–85% went for higher studies and off-campus placements, with an average package of at least INR 4 lacs. Some got internships at their placement companies, and some attended on their own. The top role depends on the company and your knowledge.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice, and facilities are good; even though Wi-Fi networks are crazy fast there, labs are neat and tidy. In the library, there are plenty of books and textbooks, and we can even borrow the books with our library card. I don't know about the hostel, but sports grounds are there, including a gym.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were helpful, and even they came prepared for classes and cleared our doubts. It's about how the students take the knowledge or lectures given by the teachers and even practical knowledge. Semester-end exams are quite scoreable, but you should have studied them.

Infrastructure: Our college provides state-of-the-art infrastructure. It offers modern facilities that enrich the learning experience. We have well-equipped labs and comfortable classrooms. The campus provides conducive environment. The library has all books.
Faculty: All faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated. They provide good education. They are experienced and skilled. The curriculum is relevant. It makes us industry-ready.

Placements: Our batch is good. Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. The hostel facilities are good. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The canteen is good. They serve foreign-style food items.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-experienced. Exams are conducted strictly. Exams are moderate. It is easy to pass the exams. Almost 90% of students pass the exams. They focus on skills.
Other: Many events and fests are held in our college. Our college is beautiful. They conduct extracurricular activities. They encourage all the skills like dance, sports, etc. It is the best place to improve our skills.

If you are looking for college which offers good placements then go for JSSTU (formerly SJCE).
Placements: Our college is the most preferred college for placement in Mysore district. It has better placements record than other colleges in Mysore. Around 800 students get placed every year in our college, that is more than 85 percent of the students in our college get placed.
Infrastructure: Our college has the vast spread of its campus amongst other colleges in Mysore, which is around 102 acres. Hostels are provided by the college itself, all stationary items and canteens are available in our college. Labs in our college are provided with AC.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are well qualified. The teaching quality is very good in our college is been very good since years. Since our college is an autonomous Institute it runs exams on its own. The syllabus in our college makes scoring easier.
