Absolutely satisfied, really good.
Placements: 60-70% of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 32 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, and Genpact. 70% of students got internships in our course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are good. Wi-Fi, labs, library, and classrooms are good. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is not bad. The quality of food available in our mess and canteen is also good. Coming to sports, medical facilities, and games was super exciting.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, friendly, qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced, too. This course curriculum is relevant to students. It makes the students industry-ready, too. Coming to semester exams, they are somewhat better but still somewhat difficult to write. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course for a better future and good development. The best things about our course are a good future. I want to improve the facilities available in our course. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are more than expected and nice.

The Kalasalingam University is one of the best universities in India.
Placements: 20% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA offered in my course, and it will increase every year. Companies like Indian Airlines, Indigo, and International Airlines recruit students from my course. The main roles offered are aeronautical engineer and pilot.
Infrastructure: The labs and classroom are similar to cinematic rooms. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The labs are separate to all the branches. Each branch has three to four labs. There are so many canteens, but there is no variety in food.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful in clarifying doubts anytime, not at midnight, I mean, any day and on any topic, they clarify the doubts. The faculty members have also completed their Ph.D. or doctorate. The semester exams are difficult if you do not concentrate on studies, but the education is the best from this university.
Other: I have a passion for airplanes and flights, so I chose this course. The course of Aeronautical Engineering is one of the beautiful things, we get wings to fly, and we can enjoy nature. Sports are important in all events, and cultural fests are going on all the time.

Decent placements, but poor facilities and average teaching.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students from my course got placed. The highest package offered was 20 LPA, the lowest package was 2 LPA, and the average was around 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Capgemini, TCS, Cognizant, and LTI Mindtree. About 20% of students received internships, mostly in the same companies through campus drives. The major roles offered were Software Engineer, Associate Engineer, System Engineer, and Data Analyst/AI-ML Engineer. Overall, placement opportunities are decent, though packages vary widely depending on skills and performance.
Infrastructure: The college provides basic facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library, but the quality is average, and maintenance is poor. Hostels are manageable but not very clean and comfortable. Mess food is repetitive and below average, though the canteen is slightly better. Medical facilities are very basic, and for serious issues, students rely on an outside hospital. Sports facilities exist but are not well-maintained. Overall, the infrastructure meets minimum needs but lacks quality, so I would rate it 2/5.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but not very engaging or supportive, and teaching quality is average and lacks practical exposure. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully aligned with industry requirements, so students often need extra learning outside the syllabus. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty with basic preparation, most students manage to pass. The overall pass percentage is usually high, but true industry readiness is limited. Overall, I would rate the teaching and curriculum 2/5 for effectiveness.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer Science and AI/ML. The best part is learning new technologies and having opportunities in IT placements. However, the practical exposure, industry projects, and lab facilities could be much better. Campus events and fests happen, but are not grand. The campus crowd is average, with limited diversity. Connectivity to the campus is sometimes convenient, and the surroundings are not very lively. Scholarships are limited, and extracurricular activities need more encouragement. Overall, I would rate the campus experience 2/5.

Review of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education.
Placements: I am a second-year student, and I don't know that much about placement selection. For placement selection, the CGPA plays an important role. The selectors take two categories, one above 8 CGPA, and below 8 CGPA, they both have separate interviews. The student must learn all the programming languages like C, C+, python, java, etc. For interview purposes, they conduct special classes at Kalasalingam University. Approximately 300+ companies are tied to Kalasalingam University. The average package at Kalasalingam University is 4.5 LPA, and the highest package is 50 LPA.
Infrastructure: University is big. It is located in Krishnan Kovil, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. The room has 70 seating capabilities, with screens and projectors. Different labs for CSE, ECE, EEE, Bio Tech, Food Tech, etc., are available. The library also has big and different blocks for students in different streams.
Faculty: Total faculty is approximately 250 members including professors and assistant professors. Every professor is qualified and talented. Their teaching skills are very well. They are teaching not only subjects, they teach how to live in our modern society and how to get a job.
Other: The overall review of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education University is enriching both academically and personally. Kalasalingam University is not only for education, but it is also for gaining skills and knowledge like leadership, mentorship, programming, etc. The institution is also involved in sports.

Good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Kalasalingam University generally has good placements, with a high percentage of students getting placed in companies like TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Kalasalingam University provides decent infrastructure with good labs and classrooms, though the hostel and mess facilities have room for improvement.
Faculty: Kalasalingam University has knowledgeable and helpful faculty, with a curriculum that is relevant to current industry standards. The semester exams are generally considered challenging but fair. The college is often seen as a good value for money, providing a positive balance between academic quality and cost. The campus life is vibrant, with a diverse crowd of students contributing to a lively and engaging environment.
Other: Kalasalingam University is a good value for money, offering a strong curriculum and a vibrant campus life with numerous fests and extracurricular activities. The feels are competitive, the college could improve by providing more industry specific workshops.

Average college.
Placements: Company excitement was low, and the average package offered was 4.5 lakhs per annum. Recruiters included TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and some other top companies. 20% of students got internships, with Nanochip among the companies offering them.
Infrastructure: The labs are good, but some systems are not working. Our college has a shortage of systems due to the large student population. Year by year, the classrooms and labs become more crowded. The food is quite different from what I'm used to. Being from Andhra Pradesh, I find the food here much less spicy.
Faculty: The teachers are good, but they mainly focus on the software aspects of the course, not the hardware experiments. Students do more software experiments and fewer hardware experiments due to a lack of required electrical components in our college.
