Aptitude tests and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams. The Training Placement Officer who is assisted by ATPO and other faculty and student representatives from all the departments heads this unit. Job oriented courses and special training programmes are regularly conducted. Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) exam dates are not yet out. However, as per the Kalinga University, the exam is likely to be conducted between July 2025 to August 2025. The KALSEE application forms are out now, candidates must fill out the online form available on the website of the University. Candidates can follow the KALSEE exam pattern for the UG programme. The exam is computer-based and contains a total of 90 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that candidates need to attempt in 90 minutes. 

Minimum eligibility criteria for UG & PG Courses: For admissions to UG programmes at KU, students must have passed Class 12 and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate  (40% for SC/ST). Aspirants will be considered for PG programmes at KU if they have completed their graduation (graduation with three-year duration) with a minimum of 45% aggregate. 

Students belonging to SC and ST category will need a minimum of 40% for admissions. Students aiming for admissions to integrated programmes should have passed Class 12.
