Approximately 120 students are admitted in the first year of the B.Tech programme at Kalinga University, Raipur. Kalinga University offers BSc in Biotechnology in regular for a period of three years. The programme is spread across six semesters. Each semesters is graded with a total marks of 550 which is a combination of both enternal and external marks. Kalinga University BPharma application fee is around INR 2,500, which is also the KLASEE application fee. Candidates will have to deposit the fee within ten working days after the declaration of the shortlisted candidate’s list. Candidates can pay the fee by any mode - Online/ Cheque/Draft. While depositing the course fees, candidates must need to deposit the original certificates with the Admission/Administration department & collect the receipt of the same. 

Kalinga University offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and Integrated courses through its 14 departments.

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserve category) from a recognised Board are considered eligible for admission to the UG course.
2. Applicants with graduation degree of minimum three years with at least 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognised university are considered eligible to get admission in any PG course.
3. Candidates are selected on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination (for UG course) or in the Graduation Degree (for PG course) as per the guidelines of the university.
4. The application form is the same for every course (UG/ PG) and is available online and offline. Candidates shall submit the application fee of INR 1200 either through net banking/ credit/ debit card in online mode or through demand draft/ cash in offline mode.

 Kalinga University is one of the best universities in Raipur and having NAAC B+ grade listed Rank band 150-200 in university category in NIRF Ranking 2021.

University has good infrastructure with 35 acres wide area . Campus has green parks, library halls, gym hall, ATM, grocery, barbar's shop etc. They have big ground for football and cricket games. A wide range of courses such as B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech Phds etc.. The University has helpful and very cooperative teachers which guide students with their experience and knowledge. 

Placements opportunities are available in the university and it veries from course to course, University has 80% in UG and 85% in PG placement rate in the year 2022.

Minimum eligibility criteria for UG & PG Courses: For admissions to UG programmes at KU, students must have passed Class 12 and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate  (40% for SC/ST). Aspirants will be considered for PG programmes at KU if they have completed their graduation (graduation with three-year duration) with a minimum of 45% aggregate. 

Students belonging to SC and ST category will need a minimum of 40% for admissions. Students aiming for admissions to integrated programmes should have passed Class 12.

Direct admission to MBA at Kalinga University is not applicable. As per the university's admission guidelines, candidates must appear for the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) an entrance exam conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Kalinga University. Candidates must complete twelve years of school education from any recognised board to be eligible for the KALSEE exam.

Direct admission to BBA at Kalinga University is not applicable. As per the university's admission guidelines, candidates must appear for the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) an entrance exam conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Kalinga University. Candidates must complete twelve years of school education from any recognised board to be eligible for the KALSEE exam.

Direct admission at Kalinga University for BCom is available through the management quota. This means that candidates can secure admission to the BCom programme by applying directly to the university without having to go through a centralized entrance examination.

Another pathways for admission to Kalinga University is through the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE), which is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including BCom. Candidates can appear for this entrance exam to qualify for admission to the BCom programme at Kalinga University.
