Established in the year 2017 under the Bihar Private Universities Act 2013 (passed by the Cabinet of Government of Bihar), KK University (KKU) is one among the two first private universities based in Bihar. It is sponsored by Samajik Kalyan Sanstha and has gained approval from University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
