Kumaun University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the streams such as Arts, Science, Management, Tourism, Technology and Commerce among others. To be eligible for the BSc programme at KU Nainital, students must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in their Class 12 exams.

For the MBA programme, a minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation is required, and candidates must also appear for the MAT, CAT, or CMAT exam, followed by merit lists.
