PART-I) The eligibility conditions for admission to B.Ed.(2-year) Course through Distance Mode will be as under: - (i) Bachelor/Masters degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) OR 55% in case of BE/B.Tech (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) as per directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. (ii) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (iii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. (iv) The reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of Haryana Govt. (v) Only in-service teachers working in any Recognized Government/Aided/Private School/Educational Institution is eligible. NOTE: (i) The Teaching Experience Certificate will be accepted only on the prescribed proforma given at Annexure- XIII in the Prospectus. In case a candidate has served in more than one Institution (with/without break), he/she should use the photocopy of this proforma for submitting the teaching experience certificates for each institution of service. (ii) The candidates seeking admission in B.Ed. 1st Year should ensure to submit proof of Teaching Experience in a school/other educational institution duly certified by Headmaster/Principal on the prescribed format as per Annexure-XIII. (iii) There will be no rounding off the percentage of marks for determining the eligibility for admission to B.Ed. course. (iv) Admission dues to be paid only after confirmation of admission and on demand from the Directorate after finalization of the merit list for admission to B.Ed. Part-1st. (v) Candidates seeking admission for B.Ed. Part-1st should bring their Original Certificates at the time of Admission/Counseling after the declaration of Merit list by the Directorate.

Kurukshetra University B.Ed Admission Dates 2023

KUK admission 2023 for B.Ed is based on the merit of candidates' performance in their graduation and master's degree. Candidate who is in employment (whole time, Part-time) are not eligible to join the B.Ed course. Given below are the minimum eligibility criteria, seat intake of the programme with Kurukshetra University B.Ed fee:

Eligibility: Candidates with a minimum aggregate of 50% either in the Bachelor’s Degree or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in
Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to apply.

Kurukshetra University B.Ed Application Process 2023

KUK only accepts the online mode of the application process. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed course must visit the official website of Kurukshetra University i.e. (https://bed.kukadmissions.com). Follow the step-wise KUK application process 2023 as mentioned below:

1: Visit the KUK official website and click on the ‘New registration’ tab. After successful registration, a confirmation message will be sent to the candidates' registered email id/ mobile number.

2: Login using the credentials provided to you and select a course. Then, start filling the application form.

3: Attach all necessary documents.

4: Select the Category / Group (Group-I Science & Arts with Math and Group-II Art & Commerce) as per your choice.

5: Now, pay the application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 250/- for SC/BC/Differently abled candidates of Haryana only) through online mode to complete the application process.

A balanced academic journey.

Placements: Almost 80-90% of students got admitted in one batch. Person should have atleast 60% of previous degree and makes them a good teacher. The schedule is sometimes a bit hectic. But they also have students in a non-attending format which makes it easier for those who live far from college.

Infrastructure: Hostels are provided with Wi-Fi facility. The food is average. The infrastructure of the college is average. The washrooms are in bad condition. The area outside the campus is clean and has so much space to roam around. There is a basketball court outside and games are played there.

Faculty: Not all teachers but few are very nice. They know how to behave like one but few are too arrogant to answer the questions. Obviously, it is non-attending but according to me, that's when you need to know much more things. The course curriculum is easy to moderate. The exams are held on a yearly basis and you should get atleast 60%, and the pass percentage I guess is 35%.

Other: Many events and fests are organised by the departments and sometimes with other departments combined. The canteen is large and the food is also good. I chose this course as I wanted to become a teacher but had to stay home due to personal reasons. Hence, chose this college as a non-attending student. The thing I wish they could improve is that the teachers should be more considerate towards the students. They should share the PDFs of the subjects, take up online classes for them so that the exams will be easier for them.

Hostel facility is best with a suitable bed, chair, study table, and proper light. Moreover, mess food and canteen facility is amazing with different menus from time to time.

Campus is very good. Faculty members are well-qualified.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. Teaching roles offered in our course. Students get placed based on the teacher training they perform. Students are placed in different schools. The average salary package offered is between 2-3 LPA. A Bachelor of Education provides the ability to teach in schools.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are the best. A huge library is available on the campus, with air-conditioning facilities. Wi-Fi is also available. There are many labs on campus. Food quality is also good in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities, sports and games facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. All the teachers are NET qualified. They teach so well. Exams are moderately difficult. If we study well during our course, we can easily pass the examination. If we don't study at all then it can be difficult.
