In the early semesters, students study core computer-science fundamentals — including programming (Python, sometimes Java/C/C+), data structures and algorithms, databases, operating systems, computer networks, and other building-block courses like mathematics (linear algebra, probability and statistics), which are essential for ML. As the course progresses, the AI/ML-specific modules come into play. These include Machine Learning (both supervised and unsupervised learning), Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Expert / Intelligent Systems, and AI applications — equipping students to work on speech processing, image recognition, NLP tasks, and building intelligent systems. Beyond theory, LPU emphasizes practical learning: students work in AI labs, handle real-world datasets, build models, and do projects. The syllabus also offers electives and specialisation opportunities, internships, and “industry-interface” courses — ensuring exposure to real-world problems, not only classroom exercises. If you like — I can pull up a full semester-by-semester syllabus outline (with subject names) for LPU's B.Tech AI & ML, so you know exactly what to expect each year.

Yes, LPU is a good choice for pursuing BBA. The programme is internationally accredited (ACBSP, USA) and offers diverse specializations like IT, Financial Markets, and Business Analytics, preparing students with analytical, managerial, and communication skills. LPU provides strong placement support, with companies such as HP, Deloitte, and ITC recruiting graduates, and an average package around ₹4.5 LPA. While the large campus and competitive environment may feel overwhelming for some, LPU's curriculum, industry exposure, and global opportunities make it a solid option for aspiring business professionals.

By comparing these universities according to their requirements for admission into BPharm courses, candidates can determine which universities are the easiest to get into. To be eligible for BPharm programmes at GKU Bhatinda, LPU and Global Mansarovar University, candidates must have completed their Class 12 in the Science stream with at least an aggregate of 50 to 60%. Only LPU BPharm admissions are based on the CUET UG/ LPU NEST entrance examination score. The other two universities, Guru Kashi University and Mansarovar Global University admit students based on merit by evaluating candidates' Class 12 scores. Hence, admission to the LPU BPharm programme can be slightly difficult, but students who adequately prepare can easily get admission into any of the institute's BPharm courses

LPU offers a wide range of undergraduate programs across various disciplines, including Engineering, Management, Law, Design, Agriculture, and more. To be eligible for admission, you need to have completed your 10+2 education with the required minimum percentage, which varies depending on the program. For many courses, LPU conducts the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) as part of the admission process. Yes, LPU (Lovely Professional University) is generally regarded as a Tier 2 college in India. Although India has no official government-defined tier system, colleges are commonly categorized based on overall reputation, placement quality, faculty strength, research output, infrastructure, industry exposure, and student outcomes. LPU falls into the Tier 2 category because it offers strong campus facilities, diverse programmes, international exposure, and good placement records, but it still doesn't match the consistent academic depth and research reputation of Tier 1 institutions like IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, VIT Vellore, or Manipal. However, LPU performs better than most Tier 3 private colleges due to its NAAC A+ accreditation, high student diversity, rising research publications, well-developed infrastructure, and regular recruitment from reputed companies. Overall, LPU is widely perceived as a solid Tier 2 university that provides good value, especially for students seeking modern facilities and a wide variety of courses in a large private university setting.

Multiple national news outlets reported that he secured this exceptional offer from a top global robotics and automation company, marking one of the highest engineering placement packages in India for a fresh graduate. Sri Vishnu's achievement has become a major highlight of LPU's placement season, showcasing the university's strong industry connections and emphasis on practical, project-based learning. According to news reports, he had a strong academic profile, participated in several research-driven projects, and was trained under LPU's Career Development Centre, which provides mock interviews, aptitude preparation, coding practice, and mentorship. His placement success also reflects LPU's growing presence in high-tech sectors like AI, robotics, and automation. The university stated that hundreds of students are now securing international placements or working with leading companies in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe. The ₹2.5 crore package not only brought national attention to LPU but also proved that top-tier placements are possible beyond IITs and NITs, provided students have strong skills and exposure to industry-oriented training.
