Candidates with their names in the seat allotment list are provisionally admitted to the respective courses. The shortlisted candidates need to report to Lucknow University within the due date for each counselling round and submit the fees. After fee submission, candidates are required to verify the required documents to confirm their seats for final admission at Lucknow University. If the confirmation of admission is not done before the final date, then the allotment will be cancelled. Lucknow University cutoff 2023 is expected to release in the month of August and September. 

Yes, for Lucknow University admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, entrance test called, the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) is conducted by the university for UG and PG admission. Lucknow University also conducts the Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test (UGPET) for admission to the BBA and BCA courses. For UG and PG courses, the university also accept CUET-UG and CUET-PG exam scores.

Lucknow University offers several specialisations in BA courses, and the admission procedure for BA courses and its specialisations is similar. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to BA is candidates must have completed Class 12. Additionally, candidates have secured at least an aggregate of 40%. If aspirants qualify all these basic eligibility criteria then they have to appear for an entrance examination called UGPET. The scores secured in the UGPET entrance exam are the only criteria that the university follows to grant a seat in the BA programme at LU. However, the college does offer some seats for NRI and other students through management quota, and the seats issued by management quota are always lesser in number than regular degree seats. 

Lucknow University admissions are done on entrance-basis. The basic eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 or its equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Hence, you can certainly apply for the BTech course even if you have scored less than 60% in your Class 12 boards. However, BTech admissions at Lucknow University are accepted on the basis of valid score obtained in JEE Main followed by counselling. Only those who meet the cut-off and satisfy all the parameters will be allocated a seat at the university for the BTech programme. In case the students are unable to clear the BTech cut-off released by the university, they can pursue Online BTech course offered by various other colleges.

To get admission in the BA LLB program offered by the University of Lucknow, you need to appear for the Law Entrance Examination (LU-LLB), which is conducted by the university. The LU-LLB entrance examination is a national-level examination and is held once a year. The LU-LLB exam evaluates the candidates' aptitude and knowledge in various areas of law, such as legal aptitude, reasoning, English, and general knowledge. The exam is generally conducted in an offline mode, and the duration of the exam is two hours. The admission to the BA LLB program at the University of Lucknow is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the candidate's performance in the LU-LLB exam. The candidates who qualify the exam are called for the counselling process, where they have to provide their choice of colleges and courses based on their rank and availability of seats. Lucknow University accepts Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) for admission to several PG courses. The University has released the first provisonal merit list for MCom courses on Aug 1. Lucknow University offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG and Diploma, and PhD levels. The admission to most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses are based on Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET), Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test (UGPET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET). The University offers a two-year full-time LLM programme in the field of Law. Lucknow University LLM admission is based on an entrance test. A candidate will be eligible for admission for admission to LLM course if he/she has completed the Law Graduation from a recoginsed and has secured 50% marks at graduation and for general and OBC. However, for SC/ST the eligible marks are 48%. 

The university have not released the recent cutoff for BTech course. However, for the Home State Quota, Lucknow University accepts JEE Main scores followed by the counselling as s per BTech cutoff 2022, the last round closing cutoff stood at 114850 for B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering course. CAT exam usually takes place in the month of November. The registration has starts from August and the last date of application is auntil September.

Admission to Lucknow University BPharm course shall be made through AKTU counselling. Additionally, university also accepts the CUET scores for admission. Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling is an admission process held annually by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) annually. Through this counselling process, the candidates are provided BPharm and other technical course admissions into the participating institutes. Morever, the allotment of seats in AKTU counselling 2024 is done based on merit, preferences and availability of seats present in BPharm course at LU. 

Candidates seeking admission to the Lucknow University BPharm course must have passed Intermediate or equivalent Examination Class 12 in the last five years with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Maths/Biology (Zoology and Botany). Physics & Chemistry – 50%, Biology or Maths 50%. (For SC/ST 45%).

Yes, candidates can get admission to BPharm at Lucknow University without CUET scores. The university also offers direct admission to the BPharm programme at LU. However, direct admission seats are granted only if the seats are left vacant after AKTU counselling. For getting direct admission candidates need to qualify for the merit list i.e., released by the university on the basis of candidates' Class 12 scores. Further, the LU direct admission process is carried out for the vacant seats and is subject to approval from AKTU. Yes, students can definitely pursue a BPharm degree after completing a DPharma programme at Lucknow University. Usually, when students finish their DPharm diploma, they don't have to start BPharm from the first year. Instead, they can join in the second year of the BPharm course. This is called lateral entry. So, instead of a four-year course, BPharm will only take three years for them. This is a popular way to continue studying because it helps students to learn more and get a higher degree in Pharmacy. Therefore, students can join the BPharm after completing DPharm at LU.

The university accepts the CUET scores and AKTU counselling for admission to the BPharm course. The application deadline for CUET and AKTU counselling processes were on April 5, 2024 and July 10, 2024, respectively. However, the Lucknow University BPharm deadline for filling out an application form with valid scores has not been released yet. Deadlines will be expected to be released in mid-August 2024. So, candidates have an opportunity to complete the application process in the meantime.
