No placements, less study, and best for exam preparation.
Placements: When I got admission in this college, placement was average, 3.6 LPA in 2023, but after that, no placement statistics were released by the college. When we asked the TPC coordinator about internships and placement, they said to try off-campus. When we try to apply for IIT internships, they do not provide NOC.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay, as the second campus is still under development. Hostel food isn't good at all. You can check the news online. In recent 1 year, 2 complaints about the mess’s food were highlighted in the news. Boys don't expect a hostel, but girls will surely get a hostel. Also, food complaints come from the girls' hostel only.
Faculty: Some faculty are very good, they do their best. As we are the first batch of the NEP programme, the syllabus is updated and industry-ready. You can easily score passing marks and even 8+SGPA if you just study 1 day before the exam (personal experience). Only classes happen regularly, don't even think of going to the lab. Nobody comes there.
Other: Don't expect events in this college. In this session, the 2025-26 even annual fest didn't happen. Scholarship is the best part, you need 75%+ attendance, but some teachers sign the attendance sheet without any issue. Apply for the UP Scholarship, and you will surely get it. You will surely love the campus at night.

Honest review of University of Lucknow.
Placements: Almost sixty to seventy percent of students who participate in the placement season get placed. The highest package is 27 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, while the average package is around 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies that come to the college are IBM, Infosys, Mahindra, Wipro, and many more. Around 20 percent of students get internships from my course. It's a good chance for you since there is not much competition now. Top roles offered are assistant, manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in this college are quite decent, and I must say you would not complain about a lack of facilities here. Classes are well-equipped and ventilated with fresh air, full of light. There are offline as well as online libraries that even help those students who can't afford books. There are several sports competitions and grounds for practice for many different sports.
Faculty: This is one of the first and most asked questions, that is, about the faculty members. I must say, the faculty members here are quite well educated, and some of them are even Ph.D. holders from IITs. This factor differentiates this college from others. The course curriculum is very relevant, as far as I know, since it prepares students for corporate work, especially.
Other: The best thing about my course is that it provides you with worldwide opportunities, and one of the best thing is that this college provides several teaching sessions with industrial and corporate people. Great personalities come here to deliver speeches.

My college is good. I get daily new opportunities to learn new things.
Placements: Approximately 90-95% of the students at the college got placed. The highest package is 24.8 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for a course are MAQ Software, TCS, Infosys, etc. 100% of the students from my course got internships from university at companies like TCS, MAQ Software, and Infosys. Top roles offered in my course are software engineering and AI specials.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is above the level. I have everything that is present in my course. The labs are available in the college. Wi-Fi is also working good. Classrooms are highly advanced. The main part of my college is library, which is peaceful, spacious, and full of study materials. The hostel facilities are also very good. Fresh and tasty food is available in the mess. Medical facilities are available for emergencies. Sports area is also good for extracurricular activities, and we can play games.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are well-qualified. Teachers are well qualified and have high qualifications. The course curriculum is also relevant, and it does make students industry-ready. The semester exams at the college are quite difficult. But with the help of the study material that is provided by the teacher, the exams look easy.
Other: I chose this course because I found that there is a high scope in the field of CS and AI. I think everything in my college is already good. The only thing that can be improved is the focus of the student, which depends on themselves. Events, fests, campus, crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, and extracurricular activities are also excellent.

Best university of Uttar Pradesh.
Placements: The placement is limited. Last year's highest placement was 26 LPA which was off-campus. According to our placement cell average was 7 LPA. But the most important thing is very less companies visit here so you have to work hard for off-campus placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our course is basic with a basic lab and an advanced AI lab recently opened. No Wi-Fi, library is good, and no 24/7 library available. Hostels are well-equipped with all the basic needs. You are given a hostel only if you are in the top listed students because there are limited seats in the hostel. In any semester if you get 1 back or more you will have to leave the hostel.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the core branches are good but computer science lacks industrial knowledge and the latest technology. Semester exams are not that tough. Our curriculum is now changed according to the NEP so it is the latest syllabus. The passing percentage is 40% of the total marks.
Other: There is a fest named Sanskriti Surabhi organized by the LUCSE club as an annual fest. This is a government college and there is no attendance requirement. You have plenty of time for external hustle.

I'm dissatisfied by the management, no qualified faculty, and poor placements.
Placements: No placement only sales companies come on campus. The training and placement cell does a little work on bringing the companies on campus. No NOC is given even if a student cracks an internship even if the dean harass the young students and provides no room for growth.
Infrastructure: No hostels are being provided especially to the engineering students some may get the hostel as 2 boys hostels are mainly for management or law students. The course is also self-finance so they stay outside the campus and struggle all 4 years.
Faculty: Cheating in exams is prevalent and no extracurriculars and no sports are conducted. There are some motivated students who try to do something but they also get stuck in the system of the college. No sports facilities are provided. The main reason is the college closes at 4:00 PM so what can you expect.
Other: No professors. The majority of teachers are guest faculty with little knowledge of the domain.

About faculty of Engineering and Technology at the University of Lucknow.
Placements: Placement records are good. College can provide you with an average package if your academic as well as skillset is maintained. One can join TPC which is the Training and Placement Cell for better opportunities in the placement program case it increases your network.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is average and the internal infrastructure of hostel is not good but hostel food is good whereas cleaning in a hostel is regular every 3 days in each room. Infrastructure of the college is good compared to other government universities.
Faculty: Faculty members in college are helpful and have a vast knowledge of their subject they also sometimes help you to get internships whereas extracurricular activities are very regularly conducted in our college. One can have a sports competition every 3 months which involves most of the sports.

The college infrastructure is nice, and the facilities are okay.
Placements: There are around 130 students in my batch. The placements for the CSE batch are average, with the highest package being about 14 lakhs. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, and HCL come to our college. There are no internships provided to students by the college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very nice. The college is built on 76 acres, and the campus is clean and green, with a lot of greenery. There are two buildings for the engineering department, and there are sufficient labs in the college. However, there are very few seats for boys in the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty members in the college are average. Students have to study themselves for exams and other purposes. YouTube is a real guru for the students of this college. The course is designed as per NEP 2020, so it is updated. The semester exams are average in difficulty.

Placements: The percentage of placed students in our college is 95%. The highest package of course is 15 LPA, the average is 10 LPA, and the median is 8 LPA. Top companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Byju's, and many more visit for recruitment. This year, one girl got an internship with a stipend of 1 lakh per month.
Infrastructure: In our college, the infrastructure is good, and there are many departments. Wi-Fi is available, and there are three messes that provide fresh food. The college ensures cleanliness, and the medical facilities are excellent. Sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor games, are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. When we don't understand the topic, they make sure students grasp it. Semester exams are held every five months, and the pass percentage is 85%. It is not difficult to score marks in college.
Other: I chose the CSE AI course mainly because the placement is good, and AI is the future. We get scholarships here, and there are always events happening. The crowd is good.
