In short, college is pretty good in all 3 of their colleges.

Placements: 60% of students are placed from my branch. HCL and Planet Park are the top recruiters. Many students got a role as HR or employee professionals. The highest package offered is 22 LPA, and the average is 5-6 LPA. Internships start from the 3rd year of college, and many talented students get internships this year.

Infrastructure: Not many students get the hostel, only the cream layer, according to merit, gets the hostel. Hostels are fully lush with greenery, have washing machines, well-equipped kitchens, and offer an amazing dining experience. It's totally a ragging-free hostel.

Faculty: Our college follows the curriculum of AKTU syllabus. The teachers are well-qualified and have knowledge of their respective subjects. The curriculum is totally relevant for the branch. Exams happen thrice a semester, two are the mid-semester exams of 20 marks, and one is the final paper of 70 marks.

Review of University of Lucknow new campus.

Placements: I think 40% to 50% of students got placed. But the maximum company is based on the Salem process. Wipro came last year and they offered 4 LPA. Approximately 60% of students got internships in college by company but the maximum is sales company. Electronics companies do not visit our college but software and IT companies visit and offer placements.

Infrastructure: In college, there is Wi-Fi and labs available based on the courses. Classrooms have very good and nice environment. There is also library facilities available with respective departments books. Hostel for girls is good and it contains Wi-Fi and decent food. There are two canteens in our college and big playground is available for students.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable but some faculty members are not as good as students need. For specific branches like CSE faculty is very knowledgeable. Course curriculum is not as good as students need to improve their knowledge. There is no course which improves your skills. When you read the notes of teachers you will pass the exam easily. This college conducts its exam schedule, not AKTU. There is SGPA method for results.

Other: I chose this course because I think the future of this department is growing but I think it may take more time. The educational activities and real-life projects are not available. I think they need to improve it. There are many fests like Holi fest, Diwali fest, and Sanskriti Surabhi. College has good environment but not good placement.

Review of Lucknow University.

Placements: The placements in our college are average. 60% of students got placed in the best companies and for good official work. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is nearly 6 LPA. Tata, Amity and other companies recruit students from here. The maximum package is offered in B.Tech electrical.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good because this is the newest university in India. So, the buildings and infrastructure are good. The hostels and mess are the best. Hostels have Wi-Fi, and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs and a library are available in our university.

Faculty: The college follows the semester system, and exams are not much difficult. The professors are well educated and very helpful to us. They teach students in a standard and simple way. The teaching quality is very good, and the faculty members are good.

Other: For admission in B.Tech, Lucknow University used to consider the AKTU examination score till 2020, but these days, they are considering JEE Mains score for admission. Nearly half of the total fee is refunded as a scholarship for states students.

Lucknow University is a prestigious university.

Placements: The engineering course is new as it was started in the year 2017. Placements are not yet held because the fourth-year students will pass out in 2021. Till date, I haven't heard about any placement status in the engineering department. No company came across to see this branch for the past three years but our placement cell works hard to get their students placed.

Infrastructure: There are limited seats for boys hostel. Girls hostel has high seats available and it is near to the engineering department. Both boys and girls hostels are well furnished. For engineering students, a new hostel is under construction. The quality of the food served is good, and there is a proper menu for diet.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, and their teaching quality is also good. Our faculty members are good degree holders and they did their Ph.D. from good universities. Some teachers are from IET which is the top college of AKTU. Teachers follow the AKTU pattern. Many extra-curriculum activities are also held.

Faculty of Engineering, University of Lucknow: A Good choice.

Placements: 1. Placement drive is yet to begin. But companies like HCL and TCS have started visiting for counselling sessions. 2. Students have got internships in HCL, ISRO, DLW VARANASI, RDSO, AAI, etc. from the University. 3. Every student got internships with the help of the Training and Placement Cell. 4. As an additional subject programming in VHDL is also being taught as a subject.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped with modern architecture and facilities including Smart Boards Classrooms. The Labs are fully equipped with all modern and essential equipment. Each and every Lab is fully equipped unlike most of the Government Colleges. You will find every required equipment in the Laboratories. The Hostel facility is very good and is within the campus about 100m from the Faculty of Engineering. The food is nice and the Sports Facility is very good. You may choose sport as per your choice and liking.

Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and experienced faculty. All the faculty members are helpful. Doubt clearing sessions are held on a regular basis by the faculty members. The course curriculum is a bit deviated from the other AKTU colleges. But it is sufficient for the students at the end.

Other: Lucknow University is one of the oldest State University of Uttar Pradesh and is nearly 100 years old. Keeping in mind the legacy of the University of Lucknow I chose to be a part of it. The Faculty of Engineering University of Lucknow organizes an Annual Fest every year in Feb- March and involves around 40 colleges of Lucknow and around.
