Review of Maharaja Agrasen University, Baddi: Academics, campus life, and prospects.
Placements: The placement scenario for B. Pharmacy at Maharaja Agrasen University has shown encouraging progress in recent years. In 2023, around 60 students got placed while 25 opted for higher studies. Top recruiters were ALKEM Laboratories, TORRENT Pharmaceuticals, UNICHEM Laboratories, and CYCUS Laboratories. The roles offered were for pharmacists, quality control analysts, and medical representatives. The median package in the year 2023 was around 4.5 LPA while the average package was around 3.3 LPA.
Infrastructure: MAU Baddi offers good infrastructure for B pharmacy with well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a department-wide library with an adequate amount of books. The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi facilities and hostels are very decent and hygienic with good lodging facilities. The quality of food is also great and the mess is very tidy and hygienic. Medical facilities are also provided for the students and sports like cricket, volleyball, and badminton are played. It provides a supportive academic environment.
Faculty: MAU Baddi's B. Pharma program has qualified and supportive faculty who are always concerned about students' academics. The curriculum is PCI-aligned and very relevant and prepares the student according to the industrial needs. Exams are moderately difficult with regular tests and practical. A 50% overall score is required to pass and failing in over three subjects requires a semester repeat.
Other: MAU Baddi's B. Pharma program offers strong academics, skilled faculty, modern labs, and good resources. The labs and food options need some improvements. The scenic campus has good road connectivity and transportation is very convenient. There is a diverse student crowd and an annual fest is also organized and events like VASANTOTSAV are also organised. The overall environment is supportive and career-focused.

Things are under my knowledge.
Placements: It depends on their engagement in campus activities and other co-curricular activities. Mainly, 80% to 99% of students with good scores are eligible for placement. In my course, the highest package is around 45 LPA, and the lowest package is up to 12 LPA. Any firm needs corporate lawyers. Some companies, such as Aerowin, Yash Appliances, and Scorpions, offer internships with stipends. Many roles are offered in my course, like corporate lawyer, criminal lawyer, civil lawyer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is big and looks sophisticated, with many facilities like free Wi-Fi. Every classroom has air conditioning. Each department has its separate library. There is a gym for students, as well as a sports club, with rooms available for table tennis, badminton, cricket, etc. The quality of the mess food is quite impressive and tasty. The canteen contains all items, from milk prices, etc. Medical facilities are provided in the pharmacy block
Faculty: Not all teachers are helpful, but a quite number of faculty members are friendly, and their teaching methods are smooth and easy to understand. It's not really, but students have the potential to do that because the curriculum mainly depends on theoretical topics, and they don't teach practical knowledge. The semester examination is quite difficult, but we have sufficient time to complete the exam. The passing CGPA is above 5.
Other: I want to serve a firm as a corporate lawyer. The best thing about my course is to know the law clearly and also the Indian constitution. The only improvement I want is that students should get practical knowledge. Events and seminars are held every month, such as photography competitions, poster-making competitions, storytelling and project-making competitions, etc. Scholarships are provided only for local one, and for others, it is based on merit.

The university is good but the placement is average.
Placements: Only a few students get placements. The highest package is Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 32,000 per month. Approximately 30% of students get internships with Sun Pharma, located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. There is a very low chance of getting good placements.
Infrastructure: The college is too bad option for students who want to come to this university. The quality of facilities is too bad. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work properly and they give only 1 GB of data per day, not unlimited Wi-Fi. The hostel facility is good, but it has many restrictions.
Faculty: Teachers are good but not perfect. The practicals are good in this college, and you can join any private company after completing the course. Semester exams are normal, and the passing mark is 50%. Two mid-semester and one final semester exams are held in the pharmacy department. The course is very good, but the university is not perfect for pharmacy courses.
Other: The course is good but the university is average.

Best University in Solan.
Placements: The placement rate is 80%. The lowest package is 300,000, and the highest package is 1,800,000 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, ICICI, HDFC, Hindustan Times, and many others recruit students. Almost 90% of students got internships and placements. You can pursue BBA in various fields like HR, marketing, and finance.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi, and labs in every department, and classrooms are well-maintained with hygiene. Every class has smart rooms, and every department has a separate library, along with a central library. Hostel and transportation facilities are also available. The mess and canteens are well-maintained, and medical facilities are available 24/7. Sports like indoor and outdoor are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; almost every teacher has a Ph.D. and is very supportive. The course curriculum is very helpful and provides practical knowledge. Exams are easy and relevant to the course curriculum, with the maximum passing marks being 27 out of 80.
Other: I chose this course to support my family business and got connected to the world. BBA provided the opportunity to connect with the world and helped in gaining business knowledge, ideas, and tricks.

I am studying B.Com LL.B in this university, & I am fully satisfied with the university environment.
Placements: Our university does not have placements for law students, but they allow us to do internships in July, and this internship is mandatory for all students. They require an internship certificate, and 100% of students are required to submit this certificate.
Infrastructure: We have all the necessary facilities in our university, and the infrastructure is outstanding compared to other universities. Many facilities are provided in the classrooms and library, and we also have Wi-Fi available. The food in the mess and canteen is amazing.
Faculty: I am studying B.Com LL.B (5-year) in this university. I have observed that the teaching is very good, and the quality of instruction is very nice. The curriculum is good and updated with the latest material, helping us to achieve success as soon as possible with our academic studies. The semester exams are a little difficult, and the passing percentage is 50.
Other: My aim is to become an advocate, and the best thing about this course is that it helps to provide justice to people. I would like to improve the surrounding environment and scholarship schemes in our university.

Placements: Placement cell organizes well-mannered company visits. They provide personality development classes as well for each stream student providing assistance. The highest package is 4.8 lakh per annum and the average is 3.2 lakh per annum.
Alkem, Torrent Pharma, Cycus Pharma, Unichem Laboratories, etc. are the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Provided with well-maintained library with Wi-Fi giving students the facility for detailed learning, labs are well furnished and equipped, though chemical are sometimes shortened by staff. Well-maintained classrooms with Wi-Fi are good as well for students and smart boards for good explanation .
Faculty: Faculty are well trained; if we talk about professors, they are well equipped with great knowledge and highly experienced. The curriculum is under inspection by PCI and also good from the students point of view.
Industrial visits are held each semester according to good learning.
The semester exam included 2 midterms and one endterm final exam, which was moderately difficult as questions were framed by external teachers.
Other: Teachers are good enough to train you for industry and society, including different extracurricular activities and events. Yearly visits of Bollywood stars are for entertainment purposes.
