Absolutely satisfied with the college because of good placements in 2024.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 100%. The highest package offered in our branch is 20 LPA, while the lowest package offered is 6 LPA, and the average package for electrical engineering is 8 LPA. The top recruiters of our college are Honda and Secure Meters. The top role offered in our course is an electrical engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, and we have a very green campus. The facilities provided are Wi-Fi, good clean labs with all the necessary equipment, smart classrooms, and a well-furnished library with thousands of books to read. The facilities in the hostel are not that good, and the mess food is worse. The canteen is decent, and the sports facilities are very good in this college.
Faculty: The teachers in this college are very helpful, and knowledgeable, and most of them are from IITs. The teaching quality is very good, and they teach every topic in great depth. The course curriculum is relevant to future generation work, like electric vehicles, and it makes every student ready for industry work. The semester exams are very hard in this college; you will not be able to score easily here.
Other: I chose this course because it has a very wide range of job roles in the industry. The best thing about this course is the focus on electric vehicles, which have a great future. Things I wish were better in the course include some faculty members who are very rude. Events and fests are very well organized in this college, and many extracurricular activities are there in this college.

Review of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur.
Placements: After lockdown, the percentage of placements are increased but most of them are off-campus. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The secure meter is the top company of electrical students.
Infrastructure: It is a very old college so all the things are old department doesn't look like a department at all. The classrooms are not functional at all. The infrastructure of some of the hostels are decent while others are not good. The food is good sometimes, but most of the time it is nothing like food.
Faculty: Only a handful of teachers are knowledgeable and others only have the degree but some are not good. The course makes the student industry-ready but it could be better. The semester exams are easy to crack, and the course is not hard here as compared to other colleges.
Other: I wanted to become an electrical engineer from a young age and then I got the opportunity so I accepted it.

The college is situated between the rich valleys of Udaipur.
Placements: In 2021, 75.11% of the students got placed from our EE department, i.e., out of 75 students, 56 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, the average salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Most recruiting companies are JPMorgan, Tata Steel Limited, Vedant Group, Cintas and Wonder Cement. I am in the 2nd year, but according to our seniors, the college provides many internship programs. The placement cell helps us with the internship programs.
Infrastructure: Facilities of our electrical engineering are like labs are sufficient and good. Classrooms are also good. The library is big, and library facilities are also good. The boys' hostel and the girls' hostel are new and old. Rooms are not big. You have to adjust yourself with your partner. You can choose your partner. The food in the mess is good, but it is not excellent. You can skip food of the mess as you wish. Medical facilities are good. Our college area is huge, and there are many grounds for all the sports. Indoor and outdoor games are easily played.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are professors that are teaching, but many teachers are temporary. They are quite good at knowledge. Exams of our college are quite difficult, and the passing marks in exams are 40%. The checking done by the examiner is difficult.
Other: I have chosen this course to get government jobs. In our college, the infrastructure of the EE branch is good. This college is famous for the electrical engineering branch. Campus surroundings are full of mountains and many lakes, and the environment is lush green.

Q:   Are private sector BTech jobs better-paying than government jobs?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Well, yes. The private sector BTech jobs in India offer a higher earning potential than the government sector jobs, including promotions, yearly bonuses, performance rewards, etc., along with a plethora of career options across different sectors. Having said that, there is less scope for job stability in the private sector due to market downturns.

The government sector is known for decent job security and other benefits like health insurance and retirement benefits. Rest, you can sit and decide for yourself whatever suits your interests the best. Best wishes.
