 Maharashtra National Law University as MNLU is a National law university which is the countries's 18 th and Maharastras's 1st National law university. I t is established in 2014.

The Chancellor of this university is the chief justice of India and . Being established in the 2010's it has surpassed so many colleges and beomes a most preferrable law college for any CLAT aspirants. This university has signed MoUs with various international colleges like L’Universite’ Paris Nanterre and Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL), Germany to give world class level environment for the law students. It offers five-year integrated B.A LL.B. (Hons.) programme and LL.M. Programmes.

Atlast it is good college for any law aspirants to study.

MNLU have better mediun salary than TISS, in MNLU medium salary is about 15 Lack per annum while TTIS have only null 1.5 .

Duration of course:- In MNLU you require 2 year for the complition of the LLM course while in TISS you only require 1year 

Fees:- The fees of MNLU  for the course LLM is 12,050 for 2 year while in TISS fees is 34,000 for one year 

MNLU have a grade' A+' in NAAC Accreditation while TISS has 'A'

According to me MNLU is better for LLM 

Yes, LLM is available at MLNU. LLM is a postgraduate degree in law course. The tenure of this course is one year, divided into two semesters. LLB at MNLU offers over five specialisations such as LLM in Maritime, LLM in Corporate and Commercial Laws, LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law, LLM in Investment & Securities Law, and LLM professional. Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) has expanded its LLM course for executives 2024-25. This programme is unique and serves the needs and expectations of law professionals who want to upgrade their knowledge but are unable to take regular classes. However, the official website of the university does not specify the mode of class for this programme. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is expected to release the CLAT Notification 2026 anytime soon. The CLAT 2026 Application Process is likely to begin in the next few days. The CLAT Exam 2026 is expected to be held on December 14, 2025. However, the CLAT 2026 Exam Date has not been announced yet. Check the detailed application steps below:

1. Registration - The candidate could register by entering their name, mobile number, and email id. Also, select and confirm a password for the newly created applicant account. 
2. Login - Log in to access the application form.  
3. Select the programme of study - After logging in, the first thing was to select the programme of study 5-year LLB or one-year LLB
4. Fill the form - There were different fields like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam centre preferences (THREE centres can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation. All fields needed to be filled. Check what all documents were needed to be uploaded in the prescribed specification (refer to the table below).

5. Submit the form - Once the details are duly filled, agree to the declaration, give consent and submit the form.    

6. CLAT NLU Preference List 2025:

Candidates must note that from CLAT 2025 onwards it was mandatory to give their preferences to NLUs while submitting their CLAT 2025 Application Form. Aspirants must select their preferences carefully, as the consortium will only consider those NLUs that have been mentioned in the preference list.

MNLU Mumbai cutoff 2025 has been released for round 1. The cutoff was released for General AI category and PWD AI category candidates, for BA LLB (Hons). The last round closing rank for the same was 536 for the General AI category. For the PWD AI category candidates, the closing ranks for BA LLB (Hons) was 18972. 

MNLU admission is currently open for MBA, PG Diploma course. Candidates can visit the official website to apply for the respective courses. The college offers BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, MBA, etc., UG and PG-level courses. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the college also offers PhD, certificate, PhD, and PG Diploma courses.
