The college is the best in Bareilly region for practical knowledge, but theory part goes weak.
Placements: Some of the faculty members have PhD degree from Banaras Hindu University. This institute provides practical knowledge while the theory part becomes weak, so you will not be able to get into a good institute after it because for getting any good institute, you have to clear entrance exam, which requires theoretical knowledge. Here, the class timing is 9:55 am to 5:10 pm. So, you can't have time for self-study. The faculty members never teach a good theory except Dr Sudhir Kumar. So, your theory part becomes weak.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is average. The electricity is available only for practical labs. You will not get generator facility for classroom. There are two classrooms, one for previous year student and the other for final year students. One classroom has a projector, which runs on electricity only. The Wi-Fi facility is available for staff only.
Faculty: There are three permanent faculty members, and they are Dr Salim (head of the department), Dr Archana Gupta ( Ex-head of department till March 2017), and Dr Sudhir Kumar PhD from Japan. Six guest faculty members are selected every year. In guest faculty members, mostly 2-3 seats remain vacant, and the remaining filled seats are not by good teachers. They are not NET qualified, hence the level of knowledge is not good.
Other: The tuition fee in the college for a student is Rs. 27,500, and around 1,000 examination fees per semester. The scholarship is given by a state government. Only 50-60% seats are filled every year, i.e., not much crowd on the campus. They organize an international conference in every two years.

Review of MJPRU Physics department .
Placements: There was no placement in our course nor was any internship provided by our institution and most of the students are teaching in the private sector after the course. I hope there will be improvement in the future so that students get success in their careers .
Infrastructure: Our classroom was organized in a good manner. But the condition of the lab in our department was not very good. I did not stay in the hostel. Medical faculty members and food were okay. Many students play sports and games on the ground. During the rainy season, the ground would get flooded at some places.
Faculty: In my experience, our faculty was so helpful and supportive; they provided us with effective study material and cleared our understanding of topics. Yes, the course curriculum is exactly relevant, which makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty of the examination varies in each semester in our college.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become an assistant professor and wanted to go ahead in this physics subject. If someone loves the physics subject, then they should do this degree. Students should understand more practically than theoretically. They should be given projects and practical assignments so that they can gain high command on the subject. In our college, events, festivals, workshop and seminars are organized several times a month and scholarships are also provided.

Absolutely satisfied with my university.
Placements: The highest package for M.Sc physics is Rs 61,500, average is Rs 52,100 and the lowest is Rs 50,000. The top recruiting companies are Azim Premji Foundation, Cisco Systems, Cognizant, HCL Technologies and Infosys.
Infrastructure: There are very good facilities like labs, classrooms, library and ground. In classrooms, camera facility is very good and the furniture is also very good. The labs have everything and its library is huge.
Faculty: In Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, there are top teachers of my district. They are qualified and knowledgeable the teaching quality is also very good.
Other: I chose this course as I love physics and also, I understand physics very fastly as compared to other subjects.
