Manipal University admissions are entirelyy entrance-based. Except for a few courses, where candidates are selected through the merit obtained in their last qualifying exam or by qualifying for Department specific tets for the respective courses. Apart from that, for courses like BBA, MA, BTech, BPharm, etc. candidates must appear for Manipal Entrance Test (MET), followed by other selection rounds. 

Through Karnataka NEET PG, candidates were permitted to take admission at Manipal University for MD, MS, and MDS courses in 2024. As per the Manipal University cutoff 2024, candidates need to score upto 11214 rank for MS courses, for MD course, they should score a score upto 99289.

Yes, for admission to MBBS course, the university only accepts a valid score of NEET UG. Those who want to get admission to this course must fuflil the minimum eligibility criteria and qualify for NEET UG. This exam is conducted every year by NTA.
