Good college, but fees are too high.
Placements: I am in my first year, so I do not know much about placements, but according to seniors and publicly available sources, the placements are decent. Although as far as I know, the current placement packages are high, the number of students placed is getting lower and lower, which is a concern. However, due to its great reputation, students of MIT still get a lot of opportunities. Also, due to student projects, many students get guaranteed internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well built. A sports park with international-level sports facilities is present. Buildings are painted, except for some of them, and most of them are well maintained. Classrooms have a blackboard as well as ACs, fans, and lighting. Recorded lectures are also provided, and IBus is available on the whole campus, although the Wi-Fi does not work that well.
Faculty: The faculty is quite good, unlike other colleges, most of the teachers are highly qualified, and the research societies of the college are very active. My midsems are just over, and what I observe is that they are not that difficult; they are at a medium level, and the grading is relative, so it depends on the course as well as what grade and GPA you will have at the end of the semester.
Other: Events and festivals are good enough, last time, Ashish Solanki came to the campus, and Ashneer Grover as well as many others have visited.

My experience at this college.
Placements: Placements were good. The college had a placement cell that managed placements for students. It invited companies from different sectors. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, and Axis Bank visited the college. These companies made several offers to students. The average package was around 4.5 LPA. The highest package was 28 to 38 LPA. Companies conducted interview sessions, practical tests, & group discussions to select students. Students needed to qualify in all rounds to get selected. The college also provided internship opportunities. These helped students gain practical experience and knowledge.
Infrastructure: The hostel was fully equipped with free Wi-Fi. The rooms had double-sharing facilities, with separate washrooms for each room. The mess served pure vegetarian food, and the quality was hygienic and good.
Faculty: University provided highly qualified and experienced faculty members in their respective departments. They were well-educated. They had extensive knowledge of the course. They were interactive and experts in their fields. Most of them held doctoral degrees. The standard of teaching was simple yet quite high. As a student, I could appreciate the professors' excellent knowledge. The college followed a semester-based examination system, with end-semester exams and mid-semester exams in between. Marks were also awarded for assignments and attendance. The exam difficulty level was moderate. The course began with the basics of business management and business functions. It covered all the basic aspects of management. A lot of market research projects and case studies were included in the course to help students understand current market scenarios and conditions. This helped many students understand how an enterprise functions under different market conditions.

The college is not worth the fee it charges. It is better join another college.
Placements: College is new, so we don't know much about placements yet. Placements are merged with the main campus only, so one can see the companies coming through that only, but placements won't be merged for the upcoming batches. So it will be like a gamble.
Infrastructure: The campus is average and small compared to other colleges. The mess food is good. On paper, they show that the campus is spread over 80 acres, but that is not true. The crowd is too much compared to the size of the campus, which makes the college look crowded. There are so many restrictions also.
Faculty: Exams are easy, and professors are also good. The course curriculum is good, and we will get enough time for extracurricular activities or whatever we want. They give proper resources. Semester exams are not that hard, so one can score a good CGPA.

Review of Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Placements: With a placement percentage of over 90%, MIT Manipal is definitely one of the best engineering colleges in the country. Top recruiters include Oracle, Hitachi, HP, Amazon, and others. Top placements include 54 LPA. The average is around 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Accommodation facilities at MIT Manipal are the best. Both single-room and double-occupancy options are available. The campus size is close to 200 acres. Along with modern academic facilities, our sports facilities are also wonderful, with tennis courts, an Olympic-sized pool, and various others.
Faculty: Each subject has separate teachers. Only specialized faculty members are hired by MIT Manipal. We have such a beautiful course. Also, the syllabus is well-designed by the industry. We are also allocated industrial projects. Many industry professionals come and take guest lectures here.
Other: Cultural fest Revels and tech fest Techtatva are the biggest fests of our campus.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements are good. MCOHS Manipal has been ranked No. 1 for many years, so it has a really good reputation. Companies and hospitals tend to prefer students from our college for internships and work. Our college provides a 1-year compulsory internship, so it's a great opportunity for everyone.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and all the amenities are really good in our college and hostel. There's free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, including the library, hostel, college, and hospital. There's a gym and sports arena. There is also a great library and a cafe nearby, so overall, 10/10.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, and all of them are doctors. So, we get great experience and examples while being taught. You can always approach teachers, and they are always ready to help. The semester exams are okay. It depends on which year you are in to completely say how it is.

Absolutely satisfied, got government seat though.
Placements: The college is known for fostering a diverse learning environment and is attached to two government hospitals and a private hospital, giving exposure to all types of clinical skills, and a good reputation, especially abroad. It is highly regarded both nationally and internationally.
Infrastructure: It has good enough modern furniture, food is varied, there is an option to move out and stay in rented apartments too, if unable to adjust to the hostel. Although we sometimes get bored with the food, the hostel committee is all ears to listen to our suggestions and improve.
Faculty: As per the National Medical Council, there is clinical exposure, hands-on training, best professors, and exams conducted in a fair way. Honestly, it commits to academic excellence and quality medical education training. There is no good campus life in Bangalore.
Other: Events and fests are not great.

If placement is your main priority for B.Tech Biotechnology, I would definitely suggest keeping LPU high on your list. SRM and Manipal are also established options, but LPU has a good advantage in terms of its dedicated School of Bioengineering and Biosciences, industry-oriented curriculum and place

No, NIRF ranking 2026 has not been released for MAHE Manipal University yet. However, candidates can check NIRF rankings 2025 as reference. In 'Business & Management Studies' category, the institute ranked #14. In 'Science' category it got #5.
