MAHE BA is an undergraduate programme of three and four years duration. Under this course, the institute offers five specialisations, namely Culinary Arts, Media & Communication, Aesthetics and Peace Studies, etc. Admission to BA at Manipal Academy of Higher Education is provided based on Class 12 scores and MET (Manipal Entrance Test) scores, this test is an in-house university entrance test, that is conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses. MAHE BA Admission Dates 2025
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education's BA deadline was 31 August for the previous batch. The admission dates for MAHE BA 2025 will be updated soon on the official website of the college. Candidates who are planning to take admission must stay updated and can check the official website of the college frequently. MAHE Manipal conducts its admission for the BA programme from October/ November to July/ August. In addition, to the admission dates, MET 2025 exam dates have not been announced yet. The authorities are expected to conduct MET 2025 online i.e., as a computer-based test in two phases.

MAHE BA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
MAHE BA course admission is based on online mode. To fill out an online application form students need to go to the website and fill out the application form. The complete admission process involves multiple steps, such as registration, verifying email address, filling out an application form, choosing the specialisation, appearing for the MET exam (for BA Culinary Arts), uploading required documents, then paying application fees. The step-wise application process for Manipal Academy of Higher Education admission is mentioned below:
Step 1: MAHE BA application process 2025:
1: Go to the website: https://manipal.edu/.
2: Click on ‘Online Application Form’.
3: Mention the correct email address for verification.
4: Click on ‘New Application’ and register with the basic details.
5: Log in with the credentials and fill out the application form.
6: Upload the documents and pay the MAHE BA application fee of INR 600.

- Copy of Class 10 admit card.
- Copy of Class 10 mark sheet and certificate.
- Copy of Class 12 mark sheet
- Copy of aadhaar card
- Copy of school leaving certificate, etc.
Step 2: Appear for Entrance Examination
After receiving the applications, the admission department of the university will release the dates and timings for the MET exams. Candidates who have opted for a BA in Culinary Arts are required to appear in the MET entrance examination. Apart from this test, candidates can also get admission to the BA course based on Class 12 scores.
Step 3: Release of Merit List
The admission department of the institute analyses the application and scores of the candidates. Further, according to that basis, the MAHE releases the merit list of shortlisted students.
Step 4: Admission Confirmation & Fee Payments

Yes, it is mandatory for all first year BA students to reside in the campus hostels of MAHE. Those desirous of staying outside under own arrangements must submit a consent letter from their parents duly recommended by their HOI and forward it to Director, Student Affairs for necessary permission.
Applicants from any disciplinary background can apply for BA courses at MAHE if they meet the primary criteria and can clear all the steps of MAHE's admission process and are eligible to get admission. One concern that universities ask for, candidates must complete their Class 12 with at least an aggreate of 45%, from any stream.
MET 2025 application form last date has not been announced yet. Candidates will have to fill out and submit the MET application form before the final date, which will be released soon. No late applications will be accepted. The MET 2025 application form dates will be announced at manipal.edu.
