Infrastructure: The academic blocks house high-end laboratories specifically geared towards B.Tech CSE students. From specialised IoT and Aerospace labs to the Gaming Studio, the resources are designed for hands-on technical work. The campus provides 24/7 secured Wi-Fi with a high-end firewall. This is essential for students who spend their time on GitHub, research portals, or running remote simulations.
Faculty: The teaching quality is at its best when dealing with core technical subjects. Most faculty members are very approachable for research-oriented discussions, whether it's debugging a complex Javascript or refining the logic for an AI diagnostic tool. Beyond the classroom, they are supportive of student-led initiatives. Poor infrastructure and very strict rules. Hostel facilities are poor. Low value for money college.
Placements: In the first round of placement, around 20 percent of students got placed. 50 percent of the students got placed on campus placement till the 4th round. The highest package is around 60 LPA in Zomato. The top recruiter is TCS. The lowest package is also from TCS which is around 3 LPA. The average package is around 6 LPA for Computer Science. The university would only allow you to get an internship from certain companies.
Infrastructure: There are 2 academic buildings in this college separated by 2 kms. Sometimes your classes can be right after one another in AB1 and AB2 which creates problems. Wi-Fi is slow (around 10 Mbps). Most of the classrooms are non-AC. College doesn't allow girls to leave the hostel after 6:30 PM. Mess food is decent and there is a bare minimum of medical facilities available. Sports facilities are a bit of a let-down and the pitches are not sports-friendly. MPH only consists of 1 basketball court.
Faculty: All of the teachers have a Ph.D. degree. The course curriculum is similar to that of the private universities. The semester exams are quite moderate. The pass percentage depends on the subject and faculty for example, advanced technical communication has a pass percentage of 98 percent whereas calculus has a pass percentage of 50 percent.
Other: I chose this course for a job guarantee. CSE normally offers the highest package compared to other branches. I would like them to lower the course's difficulty. Events are generally good. The crowd is also good but connectivity is very bad. The nearest town is 30 km away. They offer a scholarship to the top 2 performing students in each district of Madhya Pradesh. This college is not good for extra-curricular activities.

VIT - A place to learn and a chance to grow.
Placements: I belong to the B.Tech CSE passing out batch of VIT Bhopal. Around 80 - 90 percent of eligible students are placed. The highest package went above 60 LPA, the average is around 5.5 LPA to 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPAto 4 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, and TCS. 60- 70 percent of students secured internships.
Infrastructure: All things are good including Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, labs, and all the facilities are good. Currently, they are basically more focused on those things food is very good, and the mess is available near the hostel. The night canteen is also good.
Faculty: 100 percent of the faculty are highly qualified. All the faculty have a doctorate and are highly qualified. Most of them are helpful in nature and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. The FFCS system is a very good thing in VIT. The pass percentage is nearly 70-80 percent, the semester exam is moderate.
Other: I chose this course just because of the good infrastructure as well as a VIT tag. The FFCS system is the best in my college. They have to improve things like add more practical education, AdVITya is famous it is very good.

VIT Bhopal has the best student-driven fests.
Placements: VIT Bhopal is as good as NIT Bhopal when it comes to placements. Around 90 percent of students get placed every year at least in the CSE branch. Top recruiting companies for our course include Intel, TCS, Amazon, etc. This year, students of the 2026 pass-out batch broke various records as the highest placements in this batch surpassed previous records and recorded a new high package of around 70 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of VIT Bhopal is like developed to the moon. Unarguably, it has one of the biggest campuses, and with very few courses in, and also the student size is not that large. Our campus feels so peaceful. It has a few blocks, but all are made with precision as we have the best labs. Even hostels are the best with livable facilities that a university can provide.
Faculty: Our faculty members' teaching aligns completely with industrial learning, as apart from being qualified, most of them have garnered enough corporate experience too. Faculty members' experiences vary as some have been professors, while others have joined just a few years back. One thing common is that their teaching is top-class.
Other: CSE teaches us about the future and to be future-ready, so I chose this course. From AI to Data Science, we have everything included in our course. Advitya is VIT Bhopal's biggest event organised here.

A decent college review of VIT Bhopal.
Placements: Till then, the first placements were completed, in which 2023 students had registered for placements. 874 students were placed. The highest package recorded was 70 LPA, while the average package was 5.2 LPA. Over 400 companies came for campus placements, in which 20 new companies were included. Some prominent companies included Cisco, PWC, HP, Deloitte, and Honeywell.
Infrastructure: VIT Bhopal mainly focused on building hostels. But the infrastructure was not up to the mark. However, there were signs of improvement in the past few years. The mess food was poor, and the drinking water had multiple issues. Wi-Fi issues were there initially. They were resolved on time, but the connection kept fluctuating.
Faculty: Academics were top-notch. All faculty members are Ph.D. holders. The curriculum was up to date and much better than that of other private colleges. The college also provided the concept of a flipped course, which involved both online certificate courses and physical classes.
Other: Events took place regularly. The management supported them. Many club events took place. It involves both non-tech and tech activities. Sports were lacking but seemed to improve each year. There was a lot of crowd. But it seemed manageable.

There is a chance of you getting a computer science branch in VIT Bhopal as the cut off last year was 50k. But again, this year it all depends on the cut offs.
