Dissatisfied with facilities, great teachers.

Placements: I am from the 2023 batch, and there are about 4000-5000 students in the placement line. The highest package the university received in 2026 was 56 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Zomato, Amazon, and Microsoft. Currently, very few students are getting internships from college due to the central placement policy, and I believe only 5-10% can secure internships. Most roles offered are software engineer and full-stack software Engineer.

Infrastructure: There are facilities available like labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms. The main issue is Wi-Fi, which is extremely slow and often does not work. Classrooms and labs are standard, except for the architecture block, which is the worst- an extremely poorly maintained building. Hostel facilities are also poor; Wi-Fi often does not work, there is no network, and mobile data speeds are very low. Mess facilities like JMB, Mayuri, and Safal are of better quality, but CRCL is the worst mess. Regarding hostel infrastructure, the premium blocks don't feel premium, and the basic ones are actually better.

Faculty: I would say the teachers are good. Most hold Ph.D.s. Some teachers are not very good, but FFCS offers the option to choose instructors. I wouldn't say the courses make students industry-ready. The pace is very fast; for example, DSA-related subjects are taught in just two months. Other than that, there are no practical projects where teachers help us learn or do hands-on work. In the third year, there's one subject where we do a kind of DSA in Java, which gives us a chance to code. Otherwise, laptops are rarely used.

Other: ADVITYA Fest is fantastic, but every event is very crowded.

Absolutely satisfied with mess and hostel, decent placements, facilities not too good, but enough.

Placements: 90 % of students got placed. The highest package is 59 LPA. The average package is 9 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Zomato, and TCS. 50% of students from my course got internships at Microsoft, TCS, and Amazon. Top roles offered in my course are AI engineering and data scientists.

Infrastructure: There are facilities like 4 different messes. AI lab, gaming lab, cyber lab, computer network lab, six different types of airy classrooms, 2 libraries, both have a capacity of 500 each, three auditoriums, cricket ground, football ground, and a small hospital.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified with 100% doctorate. The curriculum is relevant, like IIT. Teaching quality is good, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult, and the pass percentage is 40% in each.

Other: This course is good for AI's future, events are good, there is no good connectivity to college, and exams can be easier.

VIT Bhopal: A place to grow.

Placements: The placement ratio is very high, like last year, 95% of the candidates got placement, and nearly 3000 candidates applied for the on-campus placement drive from the Computer Science Branch. But the average placement is very low, and it is 7.7LPA. The highest placement till now is 56LPA in Zomato.

Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is very poor here. Washrooms are not properly cleaned every day, and mess food is very oily and spicy. Most websites, including ChatGPT, are blocked through college Wi-Fi. The college Wi-Fi provides a speed of 9 Mbps, and most of the time, the routers malfunction. Mobile network connectivity throughout the campus is very poor.

Faculty: The college provides a 100% doctoral faculty who have a good amount of teaching experience. The curriculum in this college is not so placement-ready, as most of the concepts required for a good placement need to be learn by oneself. The exam rules in this college are strict.

Absolutely satisfied because of campus life, placement, and faculty.

Placements: Total number of students placed this year in my course is 1,500. Highest package offered in my course was Rs. 59,00,000, and average was Rs. 9,00,000. Our top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Nokia, etc. A total of 80/90% students got internships at Amazon, Microsoft, and Nokia. Top role was HR at Nokia.

Infrastructure: There is a big, lush green campus with good Wi-Fi. There are 2 libraries and a classroom that has a smartboard. Quality of food is hygienic and healthy. There is a hospital on campus with full equipment and medicine. There is a big ground for sports.

Faculty: Here, all teachers are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, and top institutes of India with excellent knowledge in their courses. The syllabus here is enough to make students ready for industry. Semester exam is moderate, one can easily score good marks in semester.

Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering (core) because there is a high demand for CSE students and high packages for this course. Practical classes are better in our course. There are many events, fests, like Aahwahan, yearly college party, etc. Here is a big crowd, something like 16 thousand students in our college. Campus is located on the outskirts of Bhopal. There are many scholarships on our campus.

It has good infrastructure, good faculty, and a small crowd. Overall, it is great.

Placements: Around 70- 80% of students get placed. The lowest package is 3.6 LPA by TCS. The highest package is 36 LPA, which was offered last year. Overall, the highest package offered is 52 LPA by Microsoft. Many big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, etc., visit our college. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS and Cognizant. Around 90% of students get internships in many companies, varying from Amazon and Microsoft to Wipro and IBM.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and it's under construction. But it has labs of almost all departments, i.e., robotics lab, gaming lab, IOT lab, done lab, electronics lab, electrical lab, etc. Our college has 4 libraries. It also has a separate reading room for students to study quietly. It also has many other interesting things like a coding studio, English studio, etc., which really add to its infrastructure.

Faculty: Here, faculty members are very qualified. They all graduated from IITs. They really have a very good knowledge of their domain. Also, they are very helpful. Our college follows a modern curriculum, and not an old course curriculum like in many other colleges. Here, from the 1st semester onwards, they started teaching us coding and the skills that companies want in placements. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams' difficulty level varies from easy to very hard, but it has no effect on grades. Actually, in our college, there is a relative grading system. There is no such pass percentage.

There is a chance of you getting a computer science branch in VIT Bhopal as the cut off last year was 50k. But again, this year it all depends on the cut offs.
