B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

If you want to enjoy college life, come to Manipal.
Placements: The real percentage of students placed is around 70 percent. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the average is around 7 LPA, and the highest is 24 LPA. Internship opportunities are less. Students have to find them on their own. The top roles offered in our course are based on AI, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.
Infrastructure: Facilities include Wi-Fi, labs, virtual classrooms, and fully air-conditioned rooms. Rooms are small but enough for living. The infrastructure is very beautiful. However, students have to pay a high amount for facilities provided. The only issue is the lack of good food outlets near and inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are educated and qualified. Many hold Ph.D. degrees in their field of research. They are very supportive. The course curriculum is okay in the first year, but it should be improved. So it does not help much in future engineering. After the first year, the curriculum improves and becomes more industry-ready.

Great campus, work hard for a better CGPA so that you can achieve what you want.
Placements: Around 75-80% students are placed in B.Tech CSE. The highest package on campus is 30 LPA, the average is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. 500 students are recruited by TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Amazon, Dell, and Microsoft. Roles offered are SDE and Analyst. You need to maintain more than 8 CGPA to sit for placements.
Infrastructure: College has great infrastructure with smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, and a huge central library (a 3-storey library is almost done). Hostels are really clean with basic amenities. Mess food is decent with variety and a canteen. Overall, the facilities are great.
Faculty: Faculty are qualified and supportive, with decent teaching quality. Curriculum is relevant but requires self-learning for industry readiness. Exams are moderate or easy, and the pass percentage is fairly high. There are backup exams as well for mid-semesters.
Other: I chose this course for its strong career opportunities and its collaborations with foreign universities, opening a gateway for further studies. The best aspects are coding exposure and peer learning. Improvements are needed in placement quality in terms of R.O.I. Campus life is really active with festivals and activities going on on a daily basis.

Really good infrastructure and college life, but not good for placements.
Placements: I will pass in 2028, but as of now, the current placements don't seem too good. I don't think the highest package was more than 35 LPA. You'll have to work really hard to get a placement from here, but even after that, the maximum you can get is 30-40 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good. They have Wi-Fi, labs, PCs, and good classrooms. The college campus and canteens are good, but some classrooms don't even have good ACs. They need maintenance, really.
Faculty: Faculty members and courses are average, some are good, but others feel like they're illiterate. They will either like you or they don't. Semesters are really easy to pass. I myself studied for the last couple of days and got an 8.33 GPA. If you're consistent, you get marks. Some faculty members really push you forward, but others just make your life ***.
Other: Students are good, great college life and culture. But studies, that ain't good, neither the placements.

I'm really satisfied with the college.
Placements: This year, above 60% of students were placed in Accenture with higher and different packages. Dell recruited more than 40 students. Deloitte, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Google also recruited in great numbers with more than average packages. The college provides a lot of internship opportunities and organizes lots of workshops for skill-building.
Infrastructure: The campus is very luxurious, and the hostels are fully comfortable with all the luxurious amenities. The campus has very good infrastructure with all modified labs and workplaces. The furniture is very comfortable. For a better experience, technologies are used to provide a better understanding of the concepts. In the hostel, laundry services are provided, which is good. Mess food is also nice. All kinds of dishes are provided.
Faculty: The curriculum is standard and prepares students for future onsite work. The exam is fully on an e-pad, which gives good experience to the students. The exam difficulty level is quite high, but the faculty prepares us for this, so scores are good. The teachers are very talented and knowledgeable.
Other: The crowd is amazing. Everyone has a different mindset, no criticism, and everyone is very friendly. The college hosts lots of fests with very great artists. I chose this course because I am interested in computer science and software. My course offers a technological aspect to everything.

There is excellent infrastructure and good placement opportunities at Manipal University, Jaipur.
Placements: MUJ has a good placement record for our batch. Over 90 percent of students got placed in good companies. The average package offered is 7 LPA. Many reputed companies like Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., visit the college for placements. Top roles offered in this course are software engineer/developer, AI/ML developer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of MUJ are very well-maintained. The new academic block is very good. Fast Wi-Fi is available. Labs are well-equipped, and classrooms are decent. A new library is being made, which is very good. There will be a whole new building for the library.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and well-qualified. They provide PDFs of every unit when they complete the unit. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester 1.2 is just a level up from class 12. After the 3rd semester, there is a lot to study, and the course becomes harder.
Other: I chose this course because, from the start, I have been interested in data-related things. I am interested in AI/ML-related things. Everything is fine. I just want them to remove economics and all from the 1st and 2nd semesters.

Good infrastructure and facilities and high fees.
Placements: About 20 percent of the batch gets high-paying jobs of more than 20 LPA packages and the remaining batch mostly opt for PG. Otherwise mass recruiters visit every year. The highest package is 75 LPA (off -campus). For internship you have to grind a lot as there is a very high competition among peers.
Infrastructure: For sure MUJ has very good infrastructure and good labs. Hostels surely are expensive but worth the experience. Wi-Fi is okay. The good Library and highly advanced classrooms. There are labs in collaboration with Intel. The food is good enough not like home but good enough.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified enough for the job but surely experience varies person to person. Course curriculum is not the best surely better than a lot of other colleges but this alone will not make you industry-ready. Semester exams are not very tough 1 week before the exam you could fetch an above 8 CGPA.

Quite a good university giving average placements, great infrastructure, and vibrant culture.
Placements: There have been companies like Deloitte, Dell, Amazon, and others for recruitment, with quite a good number of students being placed. Though you gotta put in your personal efforts if you want to get into any of the good roles. There has been an average package of around 8-10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Great and vibrant infrastructure with lots of amenities and activities. You have different messes with food that are better compared to other universities that I have known and heard of, and many facilities like a gym, sports like TT, billiards, basketball, football, and many more.
Faculty: To be honest, you have good and average teachers, not just here but everywhere. My personal opinion is that you need to put in your personal efforts and hard work alongside what's being taught while you take any professional course. The rest is all normal.
Other: You have different events and fests, technical, cultural, hybrid, and many more. You won't ever feel like you have missed something. Now and then, you will find some of the other festivals happening.

A good college with some flaws.
Placements: Around 120 out of 150 were placed last year. The average salary is around 14 LPA as per as the documents I got last year. The highest salary is 1 crore, and average salary is 14.4 LPA for CSE alone, and 30 LPA for top 30% students. But for seniors the real average package is somewhere around 8 LPA - 9 LPA some say it's 6 LPA - 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has excellent infrastructure especially if you are going to live in the hostel facility of college GHS. The college is not that big. It has a main building called as dome building with library in it for B.Tech and other branches. We have 4 other blocks and 2 messes in total with many cafeterias around the college university. We also have a cricket ground with basketball court, badminton, and tennis court along with a football area. The infrastructure is excellent, to be precise.
Faculty: Teachers are good for many courses. For some courses, they are just bad like university keeps on introducing new courses every year. So most of the time, no teacher in university knows any of them, so they just watch youtube videos just like us before teaching us. While talking about exams, they are not constant for every course like CSE and data science. The exams are the hardest for AI, IT, IoT, CCE, and ECE, they are medium to easy.

Yes, You may get admission in Manipal University, Jaipur with 92 marks in the Manipal Entrance Examination 2024. However on a safer side, a score somewhere around 120-140 is taken as perfectly secure to get a seat in Manipal University, Jaipur. To know more about it, refer to the official website.

For MUJ (lateral entry) you have to give Manipal Entrance Test and in the first year, your CGPA should be above the meeting criteria in order to get the admission in CS branch.

Hi, Direct admission is given through management quota. You can get a seat in the same, if seats are available. You should visit the campus and talk to the concerned authorities. Although fees are higher for management quota than normal students.

Hi Rajyavardhan, It will be difficult to get computer science engineering with this score. Although your first preference should be computer science engineering. After that you must apply for information technology, then ECE. You will get a branch easily. Best of luck.

First of all, MIT provides you better placement as compare to Manipal University Jaipur. And, if you hate biology, then you can go with Manipal Jaipur. Manipal Jaipur is also good and provides you average placement. Both of these campuses have got a really good infrastructure and good campus life.
