I don't think this college is good for people.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is very low. They usually get placement in private companies, but the college's role in bringing those placements is very low. People usually do this course and get placed. In college, I have seen people from other batches getting jobs with the exception. The average package in my course is that students got jobs in private schools, with a salary of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. I hardly know anything about the companies. Nobody got a company placement from the college, and nobody got an internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is for name sake, it is for attracting students who are not willing to study but are just coming to have a degree in their name. My friend was thrown out of the hostel. The next exam was over without notifying the students beforehand.
Faculty: I don't think the teachers were qualified or knowledgeable either. This course does not make students ready for any industry. College exams were easy. About 95% of people pass because the exams are easy to pass for the students, even for those from Odisha.
Other: I chose this course for my post-graduation to continue studying for a competitive exam. The best thing about my course is that I have no idea.

Q:   Are CAT cut offs announced along with the CAT result?
A:

CAT cutoffs are usually not announced with the CAT result. The CAT cutoffs are also not released to the public.

They are published after a few days of the result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. The IIMs opens their shortlisting window based on the CAT cut-offs two to three days after the result announcement. The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) can be considered the cut-off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with a CAT percentile of 99 belonging to the General category is selected for the WAT/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut-off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.
