    Q:   Can I join MAKAUT University without JEE?
    A: 

    No, admission to MAKAUT is based on entrance exams for courses such as BTech. Candidates wanting to get admission to MAKAUT for BTech must qualify West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) exam and WBJEE Counselling. Those willing to get admission in the second year must appear for JELET (for Lateral Entry). MAKAUT also accepts JEE Main exam for BTech admission. 

    Q:   How do I apply for admission to MAKAUT?
    A: 
    Candidates need to visit the MAKAUT website and download the application form. Then fill out the application form and submit it along with the required documents. After this, candidates need to pay the application fee and appear for the MAKAUT entrance exam. Candidates who are selected will be issued an admission letter. The application fee to apply is INR 500 for General and OBC category candidates and INR 250 for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates. The entrance exams accepted include MAKAUT CET WBJEE PGET, UGC NET JEMAT and GATE etc.

    Q:   How is the student life of MAKAUT?
    A: 

    MAKAUT offers safe and healthy environment for the students. The university provides modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure to its students and is spread over an area of 40 acres of land at Haringhata, District Nadia, provided by the Government of West Bengal. The facilities provided by the university include sports, library, MAKAUT WB centers, etc. The university also has hostel facilities both for boys and girls with various facilities.

    MAKAUT offers several need-based, merit-based and category-based scholarships to the students. Some of these include Swami Vivekananda West Bengal Government Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Aikyashree - Minority Scholarship, Kanyashree Scholarship, Swami Vivekananda West Bengal Government Merit cum Means Scholarship, Scholarship to SC, ST and OBC students (Select North 24 Parganas as District), State government.     It is the best private college for pharmacy in West Bengal.
    Placements: I am very fortunate that I am a student of Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences. I am a Pharma fresher. My seniors are well placed in companies like Wipro, Cipla, TCA, etc. The highest salary package offered to one of the seniors is 9 LPA.
    Infrastructure: The whole premises has a free Wi-Fi facility. The hostel is one of the best places. The hostel is well cleaned, and the food served in the canteen is good.
    Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very qualified. They are very helpful, and they help us in our various projects, seminar, and journals. They teach us not as students but as a brother. Semester exams are not too difficult. If anyone goes to college every day and gain the knowledge of faculty, then they crack any exam. Our college has the best faculty members in West Bengal. There are so many students who are pursuing their PhD under the guidance of our faculty.
    Other: I have chosen this course because I want a job in the medical science field, and after M. Pharma, I will go for academics or Pharmacovigilance. Due to COVID-19, all types of social activities are closed down on our campus.

    Our college provides good experience and a lot of facilities.
    Placements: Students should have a minimum percentage of 60-70% to get admission to this college. Almost 75% of students got internships at ITC and HAYAT.
    Infrastructure: Our college had a lot of good facilities.
    Faculty: We had a positive experience with honorable teachers who worked hard to share their vast knowledge with us. We had a lot to learn at this college, whose HR and director were wonderful men who provided all amenities. Our college had qualified teachers with good experience and a lot of other things it should have. All teachers were very helpful and friendly with us. They gave the idea to make students industry-ready. The semester exams were difficult. The pass percentage was 60%.

    Pharmacology is my favorite subject.
    Placements: Placement is very good in this college. CIPLA and other companies visited in this college. They give very good placements for our students. Our college give good internship also. Cipla I a goo company. Ranbaxy also a good company. There are give very good place meant.
    Infrastructure: There have many facilities to groom our selves. They provide high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classroom etc. And also organize sports games festival etc. There have good facilities for canteen. Food quality is very good and delicious in our canteen. Our college give goo library facility, e-library also.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful cooperative and qualified. They give our smart class teaching good college.there are very good faculty members in this college. I got good mentorship under their guidance. Good fee structure and good communication for faculty members.
