JEMAT 2023: MAKAUT released the JEMAT allotment card on the applicant login. Candidates had to complete the choice filling process to be included in the JEMAT allotment list. Candidates will be selected for MBA and MHA admission based on the JEMAT counselling. Candidates who passed the JEMAT 2023 exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process for MBA admissions in West Bengal. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT, WB) conducted the JEMAT 2023 as a remote proctored exam. Candidates aspiring MBA and MHA admission in West Bengal were allowed to take the JEMAT 2023. typically, MAKAUT conducts the JEMAT exam in two phases. Candidates can apply for either or both of the exam phases. The best of both the score is used for the selection process.

What is JEMAT?

JEMAT or Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test is a state-level entrance exam for admissions in top B-Schools of West Bengal. The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT, WB) administers JEMAT every year for MBA admission. MAKAUT conducts JEMAT every year to evaluate the test takers' knowledge across three sections: Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and English. As per the exam pattern of JEMAT, the exam shall comprise a total of 100 MCQs that are to be answered within a duration of one hour. The admission process based on JEMAT 2023 includes completing the registration, downloading admit card, appearing for the JEMAT exam, and participating in the GD-PI rounds. Performance as per JEMAT score and GD-PI scores will be compiled further to prepare a merit list. Eligibility Criteria for JEMAT 2023

Failing to meet all the conditions as per JEMAT eligibility criteria will lead to the cancellation of the candidature irrespective of the JEMAT score. Space below mentions JEMAT 2023 eligibility criteria; fill the application form only if you meet the eligibility conditions.

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture from a UGC/AICTE recognised institute 

  • Candidates in appropriate branches are also eligible
  • Students in the final year of graduation can also apply provided they will be able to present the final year mark sheet at the time of admission

  • There is no age limit to apply for JEMAT 2023
  • Degrees acquired from distance mode of education is treated as ineligible.

JEMAT Admission Process 2023

The complete admission process of the JEMAT exam is as under:

JEMAT 2021

STEP 1: JEMAT application process

JEMAT applications will be available on the official JEMAT website from the day of the beginning of the registration process. Aspiring candidates can log on to the website and fill the application form directly.

STEP 2: JEMAT admit card

JEMAT admit card will be made available for download from the scheduled date till the exam day. Registered candidates can download their admit cards by using their application number and password.

STEP 3: JEMAT 2023

JEMAT will be conducted in a computer-based test mode from home. The JEMAT question paper will consist of 100 MCQs to be answered in one hour. The questions will be asked from English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.

Step 4: JEMAT 2023 results

JEMAT 2023 results will be announced on the official website of JEMAT. The test takers can download their scorecards by using their login credentials. Selected candidates will be called for GD/PI, followed by counselling.

Step 5: JEMAT 2023 Counselling

After the result announcement, candidates who qualify for the examination will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview and then they will have to participate in online counselling as well as offline counselling for final admissions.

JEMAT Exam Centres

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the JEMAT 2023 exam might be conducted in a remotely proctored mode from home. Candidates can take the test from their android phone or a Laptop. The device selection is subject to technical requirements to be intimated by MAKAUT, WB. Thus, there are no exam centres for the JEMAT exam 2023. Candidates can take the test safely from the comfort of their homes. However, the exam details are yet to be released, MAKAUT can conduct the exam in an offline mode as well.

NOTE: The JEMAT Committee reserves the right to make changes to the mode of the exam from remotely proctored to online/offline
