B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2021
Offered by Bengal College of Engineering

Just another college of MAKAUT.
Placements: In this campus, the placement process is the same as the other colleges that come under MAKAUT. The percentage of students that get placed is the same, around 75%. The highest package is 12 LPA according to the sheet that the campus presents in every new academic year. The top recruiters are TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, and other IT companies. The internship program is only for final-year students.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are decent and sufficient computers are available for students. The labs are well-conditioned with sufficient space for all the students. The library is well-stocked for all the department students. The hostel facilities are available for all the students. The medical facilities available here are basic, and limited sports and games areas are available.
Faculty: The faculty members of my department are highly educated and very humble. Most of my faculty members believe in seminars. All the faculty members are ever ready to solve any kind of doubt at any time. The course gets updated each year according to the MAKAUT syllabus. The semester exams are a bit easy. The pass percentage is around 80% to 90%. You can say that the course makes us industry-ready.
Other: The campus should have upgraded labs and more industry exposure and tie-ups.

The decent campus that you should look for.
Placements: The internship is basically done by the students during the 3rd-year summer and during the final year projects. The percentage of students that are placed is around 70% to 80%. The highest package is around 10 to 12 LPA. The average package here is 4 to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, L&T, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department contains its own civil laboratory, a library, and computer labs for computer students, as well as an auditorium inside those giant buildings that you can see on the internet. The hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The quality of food in the boys' hostel is good, and a variety of items are available.
Faculty: Faculty members of my department are not very experienced but are very energetic. All of the faculty members have completed Ph.D. degrees. The course gets updated each year, making students industry-ready. The semester exams are easy if you stick to the textbooks during your initial years, but you have to practice application-based questions through the years for upcoming exams. The pass percentage is 85%.
Other: All is okay, but the campus should update the labs and increase industry tie-ups.

Very good and prestigious college with good reviews.
Placements: Almost 70 to 80 percent of students are placed in various companies. The highest package of this college is 16.80 LPA, and the average package is 4 to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Suzuki, Deloitte, etc. Almost every student gets an internship in various fields in different companies.
Infrastructure: There is a very good infrastructure in the college with neat and clean classrooms. The whole college has Wi-Fi facilities, modern labs, and a library with many types of technical books. The college has separate hostels for girls and boys. Food is very good and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and friendly. They always help when you need them the most and take responsibility to teach you well. Students are industry-ready, and many curriculum clubs and groups are available in the college. Semester exams are not very difficult, and teachers’ suggestions always help.

HIT is good for value for money, and with a good ROI, you have to work hard here.
Placements: In my course, approximately 70% students got placement with an average of 4-5 LPA. Some have been offered 10-12 LPA also. But not alot company has been came in campus for specialization. An ML engineer is the main role offered in my course. Teamplus like company, has recruited the students and senior suggest study, you will get a placement.
Infrastructure: Everything is good except the first semester. As the machines are old, the remaining library and all are so beautiful, there is no boys' hostel facility in the college, and so it's difficult for the students outside West Bengal. Mess and canteen food is delicious and good at less than a little. Affordable price, sports and games are, but you have to carry the expenses.
Faculty: Faculty are so good and kind, along with humble, some are a little. Showoff type remaining, every teacher is so good and well educated. The course curriculum is still old-fashioned. But there are faculty who are preparing the students for the industry. Semester exams are tough, though teachers give suggestive questions from which no questions came outside of that. The pass percentage is also approximately 90%.
Other: The environment is of AI, and that fascinated me to pursue it. One thing I wanna say is that if you come to college for fest, then don't put your leg here. Fest won't happen in this college, remaining connectivity and everything is good. So one thing is, the fest and gym must be in the college.

Offered by NIT - Narula Institute of Technology

Narula Institute of Technology, the college you can't regret.
Placements: Approximately 60-70 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 27 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average is around 8 LPA-9 LPA. Recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, etc. In the Big 4, you can get internships. Roles offered are AI and ML engineer, analyst roles, developer roles, SDE roles, manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Not upto the mark but by far I'll say good. Small campus and things, you'll feel like you're still in school. Food quality is decent. Also, there's a cafeteria and canteen so you get food for really cheap and there are cafes too in front of the college so you will not face any problem. The hostel is outside the campus because the campus is very small like 5 acres.
Faculty: Faculty is good, the curriculum, I would say, is old but still worth it, not that old. Scoring in exams is easy, when you come to college, you will get to know what I'm trying to say. Teachers help you very much if you're showing interest, and also, you'll get many opportunities from college if you're willing to grab them.
Other: Events are decent, the fest is good. The crowd is also good.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2028
Offered by iLEAD Kolkata

4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Decent college, decent placement, average faculty.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed. "Senco Gold" was the top recruiter with a 3.6 LPA package, and the lowest was 1.2 LPA. The top role offered was Sales Intern. 100% of students got an internship in various companies like Biskfarm, TCS, Senco Gold, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is satisfactory. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained, and basic facilities, such as the library, labs, and Wi-Fi, are available. The food is good, and both veg and non-veg options are available. The hostel is also very clean, and every basic need is available, like AC/Non-AC rooms with fan, light, gas for cooking, washing machines, and other essential things.
Faculty: Almost every teacher is very helpful and also has adequate knowledge and qualifications, though improvement is needed in some fields, particularly with some teachers. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes the student industry-ready. Semester difficulty is moderate, and the pass percentage is around 80%.
Other: I have an interest in business filled from my class 10, so I chose BBA. The best things are the practical experiences that I gain from industrial visits or by attending any seminar or lecture by industrial experts. A few subjects feel very irrelevant to our course. If any modern-day subjects replaced these old subjects, then the course could become more relevant and bring more value. There are plenty of events, fests, lectures, and seminars that help in connectivity.
