The college is affilated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University for the 1st Year batch of MBBS. However 2nd Batch would receive degree from Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research.

The hostel fees at MAHER is Rs 30000/- per year for a student which means Rs 2500/- per month for a student. Which is pretty Cheap.
