My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements were offered on campus. As I was still not in my final year, I had no idea how the placement procedure went, but the institution was going to brief us soon about it. My plans were to pursue further studies at a foreign institution, so I was mostly not going to take placement from the college.
Infrastructure: I was in a PG room with three mates. My experience was okay, as the rooms were less hygienic and the food wasn’t that great. It was an affordable stay but lacked amenities.
Faculty: Faculty members were very nice. All faculty members were good and took their lectures on time. They were very caring towards their students and always helped students complete their projects. Internal exams happened twice a year, and then the annual exam was conducted by the university once a year. Both internal and external exams took place on the college campus itself. Faculty available were very experienced, with around 10–12 years of experience in their field. They were very friendly and helpful.
Other: I chose Physics as my master’s subject because I always wanted to explore the world of science through the eyes of Physics. How a small entity can make all the difference.

    Review of MIT-WPU.
Placements: Campus placement criteria are 6 plus pointers in every trimester and are eligible after the first 2 trimesters but still needed to complete the full course. Mostly more than 75% of students get placed with good packages. Many companies like Amazon, Vendekin Technologies, TCS, and many more are available with different job roles during placements while I'm on campus. Every trimester we have to perform 2 mini-projects related to the subjects we have.
Infrastructure: The hostels are good and food is good. Students even live in PG and the atmosphere is good and per person, rent can be around Rs. 4,000.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and qualified. We have 81 students and have separate faculty for each course we studied and have focused on students' growth. We go through mid-term exams before every end-term exam as we trimester pattern (3 End terms in a Year). So this keeps students in a study zone with all the fun around. Faculty always takes group activities to improve thinking and communication skills and to have a creative approach towards problem-solving. We are given topics and are divided into 4 teams of 20 each and are made to speak and put forth personal sayings ahead. Faculty members and the teaching methods are very well-defined and understandable. They are very supportive of us and exams are conducted regularly throughout the year.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to continue my career in this sector.

    #Best college for placement.
Placements: Even there is recession going on my college provide us to many opportunities and bringing so many campus drives my university has more placement drives in Pune than any other colleges and universities and also have opportunities to study abroad or having 1+1 degree.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good it's value for money the campus is clean no issues of parking has good culture surrounded by nature services are fast if compare to any other colleges teachers are cooperative and in whole mit all the course or whatever the course is teaching methods is modern and use of technology is up to point. Library has study-related books, cool magazines, mangas, an e-book hub, and more.
Faculty: Curriculum is up to date and exams are tough and conduct it very strictly our faculty is like a family they teach us cooperative and when needed sold us just one thing is attendance it is mandatory like a school and it is important case all the stuff they teach is important case what they teach us is only going to ask in exams.
Other: College organizes annual sports in January-February and an annual function in December. Events and celebrations take place thrice a week. Sports days are just crazy, with never-ending energy and vibes that are top-notch. There are specific clubs, which are managed by either CRs or faculty members.

M.Sc. in Blockchain Technology - Batch of 2024

Extortion in college and education not up to date or standard for a M.Sc. Course.
Placements: The only blockchain company that came hire for intern project manager and content writers. There is a app superset in which 5000 plus students apply for jobs by the college. There weren't any jobs relevant to blockchain and weren't more than 50-60 jobs in a year for which the blockchain class is eligible for only 12 of em and they weren't relevant or weren't even in the IT sector.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure but we were'nt even assigned a lab nor we had faculty to teach blockchain in our first year. Ours was the first batch ever to pass out of MIT WPU of M.Sc. Blockchain and teaching wasn't relevant neither good and we didnt even have a teacher who's deeply knowledgeable about blockchain. The teachers we were assigned had their specialty in some other field and were forced to teach us blockchain, Teachers aren't at fault but the college administration who are downright inefficient, sub par and don't give a damn about quality education.
Faculty: Course cirrucullum is as basic and irrelevant as it can be. You can watch youtube Video for a week on Solidity basics, blockchain fundamentals, Mining, Digital Forensics (a subject irrelevant to blockchain with wireshark and stuff), cloud computing (irrelevant), DSA, YOGA and be done with 90 percent of the course.
Other: This college likes to extort money from the students. Mine was a two year Course, Fee structure was changed mid education and was inadequetly communicate, I unknowingly paid my feels for the second year according to my first years structure, and also collected my reciepts from college the very Next day (they never informed that I had paid inncorectly) and cleared my entire feels within 90 days according to the guidelines, I wasn't late for any payments. Despite this, I had 54k in late feels, which with my repeated complain was reduced to 35k then 27k and 23k. College policy clearly states late feels is 250 rs per day for 30 days which is 7500 rs max. When pointed this out to registar's office, I am verbally informed this 250rs per day until the feels is paid which is paid within 90 days. I was First informed of such dues in jan 2024 which is 150 days after the payment of my feels which feels malicious allowing late fee to acculumate without any communication to the student and then informing when the late fee has acculumalated to a very large sum. Now until I pay this 23k I won't recieve my degree. And the policy clearly states is 250rs perday till 30 days. Thanks Rahul and Vishwanath kharad and registar for running this extortion racket for the students.

    Absolutely good college.
Placements: Total, there are 60 students in MSc Microbiology. The highest package is around 6 LPA, and the average we can expect is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Serum Institute India and Reliance Life Sciences. The top roles offered in the course are assistant professor and microbiologist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. There are many facilities like e-bikes to travel inside the campus. The hostel is really good and is spacious, and there are facilities like a gym and a play area. There are many canteens in the campus, and the medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are really well qualified and very supportive. Teaching is really good, and they use different methods for understanding students. The course is relevant, and we also have on-the-job training, internship, and project facilities which will be guided by faculties. Semester exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn about microorganisms, which can be present anywhere and everywhere. We can get into biotechnology and microbiology companies with our good skills. Events are really great at MIT. Big fests are conducted, which also have concerts. The campus is green and clean. Extracurricular activities like sports are conducted often.

    The real-life of MITWPU!
Placements: In MITWPU, a separate Placement Cell is established for the students. During the placement drive, each student is given an opportunity to expose themselves to the companies. They receive interview offers from many companies until the end of the academic year and even after that. Students are offered a maximum package of 20 L. Biotechnology companies around Pune come to the MIT Campus in search of the best students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully equipped with a good ventilation system, Wi-Fi, and digital boards. MIT has a whole different building for the library. The hostel of MITWPU is top-notch, with Wi-Fi in every room, cleaning services, and average food. They also provide bus facilities for students to travel from the campus to the hostel and vice versa.
Faculty: The Department of Biosciences and Technology has the best faculty. They give you much-needed attention, they are always interactive, with immense knowledge about the field. The course curriculum is updated every year according to the industry. The semester exams are not that hard; I would rate them 8/10, as we get assignments every week, and we have a balanced mark sheet.
Other: Campus life in MITWPU is beyond imagination, with a huge number of fests and events. They also have clubs that give you experience beyond your academics.
