For admission to the BTech course, MIT-WPU, Pune accepts scores of various state/ national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET/ MHT CET B/ NEET UG. A total of 2455 students of the MIT-WPU, Pune batch 2025 have secured placement in more than 720 companies. The overall highest and average package secuerd by batch 2025 stood at INR 51.36 LPA and INR 6.23 LPA. The median salary was INR 5.50 LPA. MIT-WPU admissions are open for all courses. Candidates can apply online for the preferred programme. The university conducts MIT-WPU CET for admission. MIT-WPU Pune offers three and four-year BBA courses in the stream of Management. For MIT-WPU BBA admission, the university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., MIT-WPU CET. This is a common entrance exam valid for admission to all UG courses. To appear for this entrance exam, aspirants are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and apply online for the entrance exam. It's mandatory for aspirants to qualify for MIT-WPU CET exam with a valid score and submit it at the time of filling the application form.

As per the MIT-WPU, Pune course admission process, the university conducts MIT-WPU, Pune CET for admission to the UG and PG courses particularly. Apart from this, MIT-WPU, Pune admission is also done based on valid scores of national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MHT CET, PERA CET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and NEET-UG, among others for admission to BTech, MBA and BPharm courses. In order to get admission to MIT-WPU, Pune BTech course, candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50-60% aggregate in the PCM group. Admission to this course is completely entrance-based. Aspirants are required to appear in either JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET entrance exams. Admission to BTech at MIT-WPU, Pune is purely based on a valid score of candidates in the respective entrance exams and their past academic scores. Further, shortlisted candidates also have to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) of minimum 500 words.

However, those who seek admission to BTech Bioengineering course, must have passed Class 12 in Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and Biotechnology as optional subjects. The candidates for this course are selected based on NEET UG scores.

MIT-WPU, Pune, has released the cutoffs for all rounds and categories for admission to BE/BTech courses. According to the JEE Main cutoff 2023, BTech in Mechanical Engineering cutoff ranged from 24215 to 22220 as per the first and the last round for the General AI category students. 

MIT WPU offers courses at the UG and PG level in full-time mode for durations varying from 2 years to 5 years. Admission to the respective courses is offered on the basis of merit and entrance. In addition to this, MIT WPU fee structure covers the courses with tuition fees ranging from INR 1.05 Lacs to INR 17 Lakh. 

Yes, MAT is one of the accepting exams for admission to MBA programme of MIT-WPU. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with a score in CAT, XAT or MIT-WPU CET can also get admission in MBA. Candidates must also meet the eligibility to get a seat in the university.
