Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses:
Minimum eligibility criterion to apply for any of the UG courses at Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, is 10+2 pass from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent.
To apply for a PG course, the applicant must be a Graduate in relevant subjects or equivalent.
Admission Process:
Admission to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth’s UG programmes is based on common entrance test conducted by Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research. For PG programmes, the admission criterion is merit earned in previous qualifying exam.
The university has been established with a view to impart training to the farmers of Maharashtra. Hence, a majority percentage of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the state.
70% of the seats at UG level are reserved for students who have passed the qualifying exam from an institute situated in the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth area and 30% sears are kept open for students from other areas.
To be able to secure admission in the university, the candidate will have to fill an online application form, following which admission will be granted on fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
Application Process:
Candidates can apply to the course of their choice by downloading the application form from the official website.
To obtain the application form, interested candidates will have to download the college prospectus. The application form will be enclosed with prospectus.
After filling the form, candidates will be required to download a copy and send it to the university.
The application form should be filled completely with correct information in the appropriate box. Forms with incomplete or wrong information will be rejected.
The duly filled form along with relevant documents and the demand draft needs to be drawn in favour of Financial Advisor, MCAER Pune, payable at Pune, should be submitted at the Application Receipt Centre of the institution before last date of registration process.
Application fee can be paid through net banking/ demand draft/ bank challan of State Bank of India.
Mode of payment for applicants (reserved and unreserved category) from states other than Maharashtra, is through demand draft.

Admit Card:
Admit cards are issued a few days prior to the exam dates. Registered candidates will have to download their respective admit cards from the official website. In case of inability to download or non-receipt, the candidates must contact the admissions office at least a day before the exam date, to obtain the duplicate copy of the admit card.
Admission Cycle:
Registration for Undergraduate courses starts in June, 2019 and conclude in July 2019. Complete schedule has not been released yet. It will be posted as soon as available
