The ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling dates will be announced on the official portal for UG and PG in the third week of October 2026. The seat allotment letter for the Round 1 counselling process will be released on the official portal. The last date for students to pay the seat acceptance fee for round 1 will be the fourth week of October 2026.
The ICAR PG Registration will start in the first week of May 2026, tentatively. The end date for students to complete the ICAR AIEEA 2026 application process is expected to be the first week of June 2026. Those who complete the ICAR AIEEA Application process will be eligible to appear for the ICAR AIEEA 2026 Exam. Candidates reporting for admission through ICAR AIEEA Exam, to the allotted university must have final year/final semester results in hand indicating final OGPA/CGPA or final percentage of marks where grade points are not awarded. Candidates will be required to produce a Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) /Degree certificate of qualifying graduate examination issued by the university for this purpose. The candidates should note that the university may deny admission in case the PDC is not produced at the time of verification during counselling. No correspondence shall be entertained by the Council in this regard.

Students must go through the ICAR AIEEA 2026 Eligibility criteria before applying for the ICAR AIEEA 2026 Exam.
For UG Courses:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old as of August 31, 2026.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who belong to the General/OBC/EWS category need a minimum of 50 per cent, and candidates who belong to SC/ST/PwD need a minimum of 40 per cent.
- Candidates must have passed their Class 12 with PCB/PCM/PCMB/Agriculture from a recognised board.
For PG Courses:
- Age Limit: Minimum 19 years as of August 31, 2026.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who belong to the General/OBC/EWS need a minimum of 60 per cent, and candidates who belong to SC/ST/PwD need a minimum of 50 per cent. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognised university.
For PhD Courses:
- A master’s degree in a similar field with the required qualifying marks.

The exam pattern can differ based on the selected course, subject-specific questions from agriculture, dairy sciences, fisheries, horticulture, and allied fields.
ICAR AIEEA 2026 Syllabus
The ICAR AIEEA 2026 syllabus is based on Class 11 and Class 12 subjects for Undergraduate courses and subject-specific topics for postgraduate courses.
Candidates reporting for admission to the allotted university must have final year/final semester results in hand, such as their final OGPA/CGPA or final percentage of marks, where students do not get grade points. Candidates need to submit a Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) /Degree certificate of qualifying graduate examination issued by the university for this purpose. The candidates should note that the university may deny admission in case the PDC is not produced at the time of verification during counselling. No correspondence shall be entertained by the Council in this regard.
Also, students should have their Class 10 marksheet, Migration or character certificates (may be required), a valid identity proof, and a reserved category certificate (if applicable) when they are going through the counselling process. You can also carry a few passport-size photos of yourself, which may be needed while filling out any admission form or completing other formalities.
Once the exam is over and the ICAR AIEEA Result is out, all the selected candidates will be eligible for the counselling process. All the selected students must prepare the following documents in advance to participate in the counselling process hassle-free.
1. A photocopy of their admit card.
2. A the latest passport-size photo with a clear background.
3. PwBD certificate, which is issued by a competent authority.
4. Must have one out of many authorised IDs like PAN card, Aadhaar card, Driving License, Voter ID card, or Ration card.
The ICAR AIEEA counselling process is conducted in online mode. All the selected candidates who qualified the exam, only they are eligible for the ICAR AIEEA Counselling Process.
Candidates need to fill in their course and college preferences, and upload all the important documents. Based on seat availability, merit the seats are alloted to the selected candidates during the counselling process. Once a seat is allotted, students need to submit the seat acceptance fee and verify their documents. It is suggested to all candidates to keep all documents ready beforehand.

ICAR AIEEA 2026 Counselling Process

Candidates declared eligible for registration and choice filling for online counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation subject and the Agricultural University. The schedule for online counselling is notified separately on the ICAR website, after the declaration of result.
