For admission to one-year LLM at NLU Assam, the CLAT test was conducted on Dec 3, 2023. Aspirants of NLU Assam were required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. • The CLAT question paper for undergraduate courses has total 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language,   Logical Reasoning,   Legal Reasoning,  CLAT Affairs including General Knowledge and Quantitative Techniques.

NLUJAA LLM admission 2024 is done through CLAT. Candidates who qualify for CLAT are required to pay fee for their respective courses, which includes various components such as Tuition Fee, Examination Fee, Security Deposit, Hostel Charges (if applicable), etc. Other than the LLM fee, candidates are required to pay a fee for CLAT application fee. For General /OBC /PWD /PIO /OCI /NRI category candidates, the application fee is INR 4,000 and for SC /ST /BPL category candidates, the application fee is INR 3,500. 

The closing rank for CLAT Fourth Provisional Allocation List for NLUJAA LLM course is 2165 for the General category students. National Law University Assam admission to all the programmes is done online through the official website of the university. Find below the detailed admission process followed by NLU Assam for admission:

Step 1: For NLU Assam admissions to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programme registrations are done through CLAT. Candidates must visit the official website of CNLU to apply for CLAT.  

Step 2: The registered candidates are required to appear for CLAT entrance exam for admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes. After that, candidates willing to get admission in BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes, have to go through the CLAT counselling process for acceptance of seats. To confirm the allotment, candidates have to accept the seat allotment, after that the allotment will get frozen.

Step 3: Candidates who will accept the allotted seat need to upload all the required documents on the official portal. After that candidates, will be required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats within a stipulated deadline. 

The NLU Assam CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course for all categories under the Home State and the All India quota. 

According to the Round 1 closing ranks, the cutoff ranged from 2258 to 3527, with LLM course specialisations being the popular choice among participants belonging to the OBC AI quota. 

In the case of OBC HS quota, the closing cutoff fell between 10214 and 23884 in Round 1, with LLM course being popular for this quota as well.

NLUJAA admission 2024 to its LLM course is done through CLAT score. Candidates aspiring for NLU Assam admission to BA LLB and LLM courses must have a valid score in CLAT in order to be eligible for the further CLAT Counselling for the final admission. The NLU Assam CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released till Round 1 for admission to various law couses at UG and PG level. The cutoff was published in the form of opening and closing ranks for all categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota. 

The NLU Assam Cutoff 2026 ranged from 1322 to 1764 for enrolment in the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course for the General AI category, according to the Round 1 closing ranks.
