Extremely satisfied as the college provides everything a law student needs.
Placements: The highest package in 2023 was 17 LPA CTC, which, as a law fresher, is a very good package to start with. Over 195 students were placed in 2023, with industry leaders such as Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas being one of them. This busts the myth that you need a national law school tag to enter industry giants; all you need is just a good platform, which is provided by UPES.
Infrastructure: UPES has one of the best infrastructures as far as law colleges in the state of Uttarakhand are concerned. It has a huge library with access both on and off campus. The food available in the mess is very affordable, and there are no compromises on the quality or the taste of the food. There are dedicated fields for basketball, volleyball, cricket, and football, while also having indoor games such as table tennis and snooker on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members at UPES are truly commendable for their depth of knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. What sets them apart is their dedication to ensuring that the students grasp the practical understanding of the law and not just the mere text. The exam focuses more on the applicability of law in scenarios rather than just the mere text of law.
Other: College life is vibrant with fests happening almost every month, which balance both the academics and the fun of college life. There are scholarships offered to people with Uttarakhand domicile, girls, as well as people who perform exceptionally in every semester.

The current students are satisfied with the facilities provided by the college.
Placements: The career service department of our college really works hard for the placements of their students. They even organize one on one CV sessions where they analyze and give feedbacks on individual levels. They are very helping and they also help you to get internships. The faculty in the career services is very friendly.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is very good having all the modern amenities like WiFi, labs etc. The food provided by the hostel mess is also very decent and they always make sure to maintain the standards. The medical facilities provided by the college are top tier, they even provide an ambulance services for emergency.
Faculty: The faculty members here are very helpful and they attend every student on an individual level. They provide high quality teaching. The end semester exams are also very challenging, and they make sure that you understand each and every concept being taught in the class.
Other: This college is value for money as they provide a good college life and exposure. They basically train you for the after-college life. The crowd here in this college is also very decent, the students get good exposure. Our college organizes regular fests and they do it wonderfully. They even invite various celebrities for the fest. They provide scholarships to girls and they have domicile scholarships as well.

It is an expensive college situated in a beautiful location and has good faculty and placements.
Placements: Our college provides 100% placement guarantee, and around 70% of students are placed for sure. I don't know much about the highest package, but the lowest package goes around 4-5 Lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Wipro etc.
Infrastructure: It has got an excellent infrastructure. The college is situated in Dehradun, and it is surrounded by mountains, and that's the view from classrooms. The whole campus has Wi-Fi connectivity, and the classrooms and library are really good. If you want, you can have hostels with AC too. The hostels are costly but good. But you can get better hostels at a lower rate outside the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are really qualified, and the teaching quality is good. This course curriculum is very relevant as law is the sector is in a boom right now. But no college can make you ready for the industry as it is all a different environment altogether.

UPES is the top among all private colleges.
Placements: I am a 1st-year student here. The placement cell here is average. Due to the high number of students studying in our college, the less percentage of students get placed. The highest salary package offered here is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Adani, Airtel and Jio are top recruiting companies here. About 40% of the students get placed from here.
Infrastructure: There are highly furnished labs with all equipment and good infrastructure. UPES provides the best infrastructure to students. There is a hostel with 3 sharing rooms, and the food served in the mess is like homemade food. The hostel provides a student-friendly environment. All types of sports activities are conducted on the campus of UPES.
Faculty: There are helpful teachers in our college, and they are always ready to help you. There is a well-defined course curriculum, and the course curriculum provides complete practical knowledge of the course. There is a well-planned method of teaching with regular exams, which makes students much efficient and industry-ready. I would prefer UPES over any other private university.
Other: If you want to build your career in a private college, then you must prefer UPES first.

If you want to study law have a experience in the field this college is what you are looking for.
Placements: 70 percent of student got placed from my batch and the lowest package for the same offered was 2.5 lakh per annum. Top recruiting firm was mindcrust as it was like a mass recruiter who has taken 40 student out of 50 of which average package offered was 4 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is very spacious as it has a very big library we have a basketball court and cricket as well as the gaming area in which we have facilities like a gym as well as ice hockey. We have a canteen which is if two-floor separate for student and teacher.
Faculty: Teachers are helplul as most of the teacher's are highly qualified and some are ex member of completion commission of india some are retired judge of court. As they posses all necessary skill which teacher should posses and have the quality of communicating in easily understandable manner.
Other: I chose this course as I am more interested in tax matter as what this university is offering. I want to become a tax lawyer and crowd for the same is also very enthusiastic as there is a number of talented student in college which gave you motivation especially to our seniors.

The review of The School of Law, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.
Placements: Placement drives were going on well. Almost 80% of the students who applied for placements got placed from our college. Companies like Amazon and Adani Group, etc.,
visit the campus for placements. The college has a placement cell. It's really very helpful for the students who apply for placement drives. The placement cell guides the students well during the placements season. Some big and well-reputed companies also visit the campus to hire students. The placement drives are going really well from a year, and even the students are also quite satisfied with their jobs.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are neat and clean. We have upgraded labs and well-maintained playgrounds. But the quality of the food offered is average. However, the college management is taking measures to improve it. Students who live in the hostel complained about food quality to the in charge of the food court a few times. I hope they will improve it in future. Even the library is improving as they are providing free access to many online courses and professional sites, which is really very helpful. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Even the quality of their teaching is good, and the teaching methods used are up to date. Industrial visits are also conducted here. The course curriculum is very useful. Some faculty members are very helpful and supportive. The university is also providing a specialised coach for all the sports, and this helps the students who want to pursue their career in sports fields. They are updating the playgrounds regularly, and students who usually study only before exams can get benefitted from the course curriculum and can prepare for exams very well.

The colege has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements are not up to the mark. The average student gets the package of 2-2.5 lacs per annum package, but if students have good records in all the subjects, then many companies hire them with a very good package. There are many good students, who did not get placed from the college.
Infrastructure: The Bidholi campus infrastructure is good, but Kandoli is not as good as Bidholi. In the library, we are not having proper books and magazines related to Law. They are constructing a new building for the library. The classrooms are good. The Wi-Fi facility is also available on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty in law department is a mixture of both new and old experienced faculty. In this year, many good faculty members left the college, due to which, the college has recruited new faculty, but they do not have good teaching experience. The course plan is good for all the courses.

Dehradun is a beautiful place, and the college is okay.
Placements: On an average, the placements for seniors were fine. Some did really well, and some didn't. That's the situation for other law batches of BA LLB and BBA LLB. Next year will be our first passing out batch. In total, the placements are not satisfactory here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay. Since the college is on Dehradun hills, the ambience is very nice. The college provides great library access to all its students. The college provides good classrooms with projectors and sound system to help us learn. So, in total, I rate the infrastructure as 3 out of 5.
Faculty: The faculty members are not much knowledgeable, and the college lacks skilled teachers. Most of the teachers are recent pass outs. The course curriculum of the course is huge, but the course is a good one, which opens a wide scope of law with commerce with specialisation in taxation.
